It doesn’t have the usual lidar ‘disc’ at the top. Does it have some different implementation?

No, the non-plus one has no bin at all - its dock just charges and doesn't empty the vacuum.
20/11/2024 - 11:21
It still comes with a 'dock', but its just a small one for charging and doesn't empty the vacuums dust bin like the big docks do.

Is this worse than the SL60D? It has more power but only 1 roller? Also no option to buy the tank docking station?

You mean the photo with the 2 Attos? The rear one is using its V2L adapter with an EVSE plugged in to charge the front one. Basically using…

I'ver added it to my (new account) cart but it's still showing $324.87. What am I missing?

The SL68 is only $20 more: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0CJR4Y6C2 Is it better than the SL60D?

How does this go over thresholds like thick rugs? I used to have a Viomi v2. Anyone know how this compares?
19/11/2024 - 09:34
I agree that SL is a saviour when compared to Skymuster. But it's still around a 40% premium over 250/25 NBN plans, with no option (aside…

Yes I believe there is some redundancy in the constellation. How well it works I'm not sure.

The satellites will work, so long as the ground stations aren't also affected by the outage.

The neg comment wasn't meant to be at you, just in general to whoever it was. I'd like to see the subscription price lowered. Eating a…

Then you should understand better than anyone that the niche and miniaturised version of the device will likely command a premium. Thanks…

Watch a video about how these work and you may come to appreciate how affordable it actually is.

You can do a LOT worse than a BYD for the money. They are great value.
14/11/2024 - 13:25
A simple install might be about $300 or so. The sky's the limit as things get more complex. All depends on your place.

The issue is fixed/not present in 2024 models. Still awaiting a retrofit for our 2023 model :(

Nope. Here is a list (for Victoria, other states may be different):…

Yep, but realistically the C1 isn't going to get 420km either. Both tested on the WLTP cycle so its the best comparison we can make.

2 years ago BYD was a major established vehicle (and battery) manufacturer - just not in Australia. Leapmotor sold its first car in 2019.…

It's bigger. If that doesn't matter to you, the Atto 3 is the obvious choice.
24/10/2024 - 09:11
But they are wildly more efficient still. Even the EV9 with a 76kWh battery gets 443km. The C1 is similar to a 7 seater in efficiency.
24/10/2024 - 09:10
The Model Y gets 455km from a 60kWh battery pack. The Atto 3 gets 420km from a 60kWh pack. 420km from 70kWh isn't very good. Coupled with…

Yeah perhaps I’m worried for nothing, but with the amount of starlink recommendations I see get thrown around, it concerns me. I…

Feeling so ripped. Paid $599 in May. But it’s excellent at least. I hope it stays that way - too many people with fixed line NBN taking…

Nope, you need the Pencil Pro (or USB-C version) for those. This one works on the 2018-2023 iPad Pro's (A12X to M2), the Air 4 (A14), Air 5…

If you have a compatible iPad and you want to draw/write on it, then yes. It's a pretty popular accessory.

If it fits inside, then its as good (arguably better) than an oven.
