noz replied to jeffreytam on 5G Home Internet Unlimited Data (50/20) $44.99/Month for 6 Months ($59.99/Month Ongoing), Modem Included @ TPG
The notice required has more to do with the provider than the wholesaler .. not all NBN providers enforce 30 days notice.
noz commented on Edifier W600BT Wireless Headphones $39.18 + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $59 Spend) @ Edifier Audio via Amazon AU
I'm thinking the following could be a better deal for some people... Edifier W800BT Plus has a discount plus also 15% off off, meaning it…
noz replied to Mugsy on Are There Any Banks with Minimal Hoops That Do NOT Force You onto "App-Only" Access?
Just mentioning - you can get cash out at an ATM with Macquarie. In fact they refund all ATM fees.
I take it you have instantaneous gas hot water, otherwise you'd need quite a large tank to last that long.
noz replied to besttechadvisor on GWM Ora: Standard Range $33,990 Driveaway (ABN Holders $32,490) with free GWM Charging Station @ GWM
If you feel that Inster looks good and the MG4 is ugly, your comment proves that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
noz replied to FootooMootoo on Wallbox Pulsar Plus (EV Charger) - Three Phase (22kW) with 5m Tethered Cable $899 Delivered @ JET Charge
A DC charger would cost a LOT more than this. Definitely an AC charger. Will charge Tesla Model 3 @ 11kw.
noz commented on nbn 50/20 $60/Month for 6 Months @ MATE
Bottom of the barrel ISP. They put money towards paying sporting identities (e.g. Sam Kerr) instead of in to improving their network.…
noz replied to TheFreaK on Buddy Telco (Aussie Broadband) Now Has Static IP/CGNAT Opt out for $10 a Month
Existing customers may be OK, but Exetel now charge for static IP. You can still opt-out in to dynamic though (for free) by contacting…

noz replied to Chippy47 on Optus ZTE 4G USB Modem $19.50 (Was $39) + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ BIG W
No that shouldn't affect WireGuard or TailScale. In fact they are both good solutions to overcome some of the limitations presented by…
I take it these are Hilink (and hence connecting to a router you'd be double NAT'ed) ?
That's a fair point
How often has EFTPOS, Visa and MasterCard all gone down at the same time? (Real question, not arguing).

Something to be aware of in terms of Mate and referrals .. a relative recently signed up (and used a discount code from ozb) and later had…

Tangerine are terrible when it comes to referral credits. I've never received the referral credits, and I know a few others with Tangerine…

If you got email acknowledgement of the plan change, I would submit a TIO complaint. Tangerine's reasoning for the plan not changing is…
noz commented on Hot Water System Defect - Warranty
We probably won't find out the brand since they almost certainly cheaped out and went for a bargain basement unit.

That is NOT correct.
Should be able to. https://home-assistant-ocpp.readthedocs.io/en/latest/
They aren't yet, but I suspect they want to, or at least they want it future proofed. I think all EV chargers should be OCPP compatible.…
You can do it with ChargeHQ (since it supports both Sungrow inverters and this re-badged Caro EVSE). ChargeHQ is $7/month though.
Please note that this EVSE isn't legal in SA, as it doesn't appear on the SA Govt compliant EVSE list. Considering it supports OCPP, the…

Personally I quite like the Aioli ones, but never tried the others.
noz replied to bigbadaboom on Heinz Seriously Good Original Mayo, Garlic Aioli 500ml $4.15 ($3.73 S&S) + Delivery ($0 with Prime/ $59 Spend) @ Amazon AU
Ingredients much the same, except garlic paste 3.1% vs 0.9% , and sodium is 40mg/100mL less in garlic lovers.

It's interesting that Heinz sell both a "Garlic Aioli" and a "Garlic Lovers Aioli".
