Meetup Details

Date and Time: Friday 15 November 2024, 6pm
Location: Parramatta
Address: Venue TBA
Cap: 50 (could be extended to 80 if popular and depending on location)

The venue (whichever it will be) is very spacious and there will be plenty of food. If you've seen or been to a Parramatta meetup, like last year, you would know that Parramatta is usually the bigger or biggest one in Sydney so expect to see lots of new and returning OzBargainers and a lot of sponsors supporting us with prizes and giveaways. You also have a good chance of meeting the boss himself - @scotty!

There will be a number of sponsors for this event, possibly prizes from ISP himself ;)

We appreciate OzBargain for sponsoring this event with a very generous amount for food, drinks, entertainment and possibly 2024 OzBargain t-shirts/hoodies for the big fans.

Please read the how to attend section below carefully. Also chuck a vote on the poll so I have an idea on who is coming! Please only vote if you're in NSW - I don't want 500 ppl from another state saying they're not coming.

How to attend?

  1. Click the "register" button below this post.

  2. Pay a deposit to secure your spot (instructions below). Once your spot is secured, you OzBargain username will be published below under "Confirmed Attendees". If your name is not published, you will not be able to attend this event.

As this is a capped event, to confirm your spot to this meet-up, I will be taking a $10 fully refundable deposit via Beemit. This $10 deposit is fully refundable in cash if you show up to the meetup.

Once you have paid your deposit, there is nothing else to do. Once we are close to reaching capacity, I will close this deposit process and the remaining attendees will be chosen via an invite-only basis.

    Parramatta event update 16/10/24

    • Paid a deposit? Great - you're in!

    Still thinking whether to attend? Spots are filling up fast, so let's hope this convinces you:

    • We have about 10 sponsors as of now for the Parra event. Prizes are still being worked out by each sponsor and will be continually updates as time gets closer to the event.

      • There will be a lot of prizes in total. Thousands of dollars worth of prizes! Will be likely see many winners.

    • Venue is still yet to be confirmed as I am in contact with some venues. Whichever the venue, it will be close to the train station.
