If it is manual, then it might be good to drive around.

  • *From $37,990 is the driveaway price for the MG HS Plus EV Essence MY22 without any options. Offer available at participating MG Dealers for new stock vehicles only, sold and delivered between 01/09/2024 and 30/09/2024. While stock lasts.

Reading the fine print MY22 is 2023 stock?

  • Don't buy MG if you can't stand their dumb ass stick system with their cruise control! This alone will deter me from buying any MG!

    • It not bad on my Mg4. Try a Tesla model 3 with no blinker handle. Massive relearning to do.

      • Hence no Tesla…

i bought the Essence. I have had it for a week. Didnt buy it for resell value. It has 10 years warranty so I will probably just drive it until it dies. For $38k its a fair amount of car for the money and is a reasonably comfortable drive. My other car is a Tesla 3. Wish it had wireless apple car play, but hey, the Tesla doesn't have that either.

MG Warranty : Electric Vehicle (EV) & Hybrid Vehicles, including EV Battery - 10 years / 250,000kms (whichever occurs first)

Not sure how many other car companies are offering that kind of warranty these days.

    • Not bad combo. I’m thinking going BYD shark + mg4 excite combo. Should be good in a two car household.

We bought this model about 6 months ago and have been loving it.

Overall we are getting 2.8L per 100km, not the 1.7L but still great.

You can charge over night using a regular power point so that is handy when you go away you can take your charger with you and no need to get a charger installed at home.

63km battery range covers our daily commute, school pickup etc and you can choose if you drive in full electric mode or hybrid.

  • Just found out these are for 2022 Build.
