Not a bad price but no free delivery. Costs $90 delivery to an inner sydney suburb. Heat pump dryers are heavy so bring a trolley and 2 people to lift.
Edit: revised to 8kg. Typo

But I got this model and received $141 rebate from Yess.
I had one die in warranty (belt went)
Esatto were actually great tho.
Offered replacement + keep existing ($20 belt).
I went with a refund @ $650 & repurchased a new one off eBay for $550 (delivered/installed) because it come with new 2 years warranty.
It also allowed to claim rebate
So it worked out I got a new dryer, 2yrs warranty and $240 back in my pocket.
Have a 14 year old Westinghouse 6kg vented dryer, inherited from grand parents. I've used it pretty rigorously over the past 5 years, still going strong.
They don't build them like they used to.
Grandparents, or the dryer?
He is referring to inheritances
capacitor still going strong?
To those asking if this can be stacked with a front loader washing machine, yes.

I use these rubber squares from Bunnings on the dryer feet. No vibration. Works fine so far.
are the 50x50 squares big enough? Or would it be better to go the 100x100 to give the feet a bit of room incase it does move slightly?
so far I haven't seen it move at all (used at least 3x/pw) and that 50x50 is perfect for me…going to a larger size won't make any difference in terms of vibration absorption as it falls down to the rubber thickness and properties, not the surface area.
yeh nice. Contemplating going the larger size anyway as they are slightly thicker too by the looks (12mm vs 15mm) and could just cut one oft hem down to give 4 50x50 and end up with spare rubber pads for other uses hah.
Havent owned a dryer before and I've only used the self serve laundromats in the past, how long does this take to dry a load (approx)?
I would like to have a dryer in the garage. Has anyone here tried this? Do you have any issues with insects getting into the dryer?
I bought one. My car doesn't have a tow ball so i hired a ute. $28 total from bunnings. Not too bad.
Found one at my local store and could convince for $290 as it was last piece
Picked mine up yesterday.
Flicking through the instructions is mentioned hooking up the hose to drain; is this required or can it be used with just the water container? Doesn’t make it clear in the instructions.
Also what load to people usually use? I remember reading people saying to just stick it on auto, but this one doesn’t have an auto setting?
You can use the internal water container. Just be sure to empty it after each load.
I picked one up for 399. So far it’s worked incredibly well but I did have an issue. The other day I walked into water on the floor, thought it was the was washer but it turns out it was the dryer. Every time I moved it more dripped out and it was real sloshy. Eventually I turned it on and it all pumped out. I’m running a test load atm into the drawer and it’s taken 30min before water pumped into the container. (Yesterdays test produced water into it) Anyone had anything similar?
Great price - I got mine almost 2 years ago for $719.
Has been fantastic, however I noted that recently it has started to leave the clothes smelling musty / damp.
This model doesn't have a removable filter in front of the heat exchanger - you have to vacuum the lint direct and it's difficult.
I've been leaving the maintenance hatch and door open 24/7 now in the hope that I can get rid of the odour.
I had an old dryer many years ago that had a cold mode. It was good for finishing clothes and removing lint from dry clothes.
