        More like a hoarder 😏

      • +3

They are so annoying to wash he just get's out a new one each time he needs to cook

        • +2

You can use a $10 food grade silicone matt liner or basket and throw it in the dishwasher!

          • @thedriver: Are there any you would recommend?

            • @adspiv78: Also interested!

              • @b-t: Coles have them on clearance in the kitchen section for $5. Also in the weird random section of temporary items they have.

          • @thedriver: Yeah I actually do this, said it on another comment haha

      • I would be too, with all the PFOA, PFAS in it

    • Guessing you also have a oven in the kitchen?

    • +2

I have 2 slow cookers still boxed in the garage too.. 😅

      • +2

Christmas Gifts to empty the stock of air fryers and robot vacuums.

    • +3

Do air fryers go up in price if there's another pandemic?

      • Unlike toilet paper you won't fight over an air fryer.

  • +54

Everyday extra code brings it down to $80.10 (XNOV2024)

    • Thank you

    • +5

And earn 2000 rewards points, bring down to $70.10.

    • +5

Thanks guys. I dont have everyday extra and the 10% still worked

    • Wouldn't work for me, even when signed in

      • +1

That means you might have used the code on another order this month. Maybe create a new BIG W account to get a $10 off $75 spend code instead.

    • +1

Thanks mate. It works. Just got one for $80.10 with 2000 reward points.

    • Or subscribe for free to their Inner Circle program to get a $10 voucher and bring the price down to $79 (free delivery). I've just done this for my order and confirm that it works.

  • +1

    Buy now. Think later.

6.2L, trying to think how big our current super old Australia post one is

  • Thanks OP. Ordered 3 for Xmas present

  • +3

Thanks OP. Seems like a great price.
Signed up for $10off first order over $75 and linked EDR card for extra 2000 points.

Are the trays of these Teflon coated?

    • +23

I dunno, mine is black with tonnes of oil I can’t see anything. No chance of Teflon getting on to my food

      • +1

cant see mine, too much smoke

      • get rid of the oil….. carcinogenic and all

        • Teflon or oil… choose your own poison

          • @cloudy: just wipe it down or sth, with water and soft sponge/cloth with degreaser/citrus spray

    • +1

      Non Stick: Yes

Glass basket Healthy Choice for $5 more instead? (with the added benefit of not having to open the basket to see if it's done)

      • +3

Seems like an easy way to see all the grease build up from numerous cycles without cleaning.

      • +1

Have this one too. Does a better job than my old Auspure.

Biggest criticism is the UX button sucks. Power on, press edit, press temp/time button, raise temp from 120 to 180, press temp/time, drop time to 15mins, press power button again

Like JFC. Just give me power on, temp +-, time +-, start/pause. Literally have never needed anything else.

    • We bought a little round stainless steel grill that stands up on top. Also came with a round silicon mat so all the fat doesn't drip down, less cleaning, the food doesn't actually touch the silicon mat as it's up on the grill. Probably slightly worse air circulation so cooking not as good as it could be, but worth it for less cleaning.

Oooh, 'free standard shipping' for me also with no stock at my local store.
    That's even more tempting :D

  • +17

Woolies is showing the same price too.

    • +14

Thanks, stacked it with topcashback 30% haha

      • +2

Yep same here. Let's hope it's not an error!
Edit: Ah I see it's on the BigW home page, this is a great deal!

      • +2

TCB states “ Cashback for Everyday Market from Woolworths is eligible only on items that display the orange Everyday Market logo and "sold by" branding.”

But I don’t see the EM logo anywhere on the page.

        • +1

Thanks for that, I was wondering whether I should use TCB for 30% or CR for 20%

        • +1

Isn’t this the Everyday Market logo

        • logo's there for me on desktop site

      • Why can’t I see the 30% TopCashback offer? I see 0.5%

      • +1

Is it possible to use the 10% off everyday extra code together with the 30% TCB offer, or would that void the TCB deal?

    • i get a 404 on this page when logged in, but it works when im logged out

      • Error page for both logged in and out

    • Cashrewards mentioned a 20% rate. Took a long time to activate, by the time it did it was sold out.

    • Loads as error page

    • +1

OOS. I was in early but they cancelled my order after a couple of delivery date changes. I was p…d enough to cancel you account.

  • +5

I bought one too lol, didn't want fomo

  • +1

  • Thanks OP, bought one, couldn’t resist. Currently have a kitchen couture 12L. But was looking for a good brand

  • +1

Got one with 30% cahsback from Everyday store.
    Thanks OP!

    • 30% cashback is applicable on this?

      • +2

If you buy at Everyday Woolies Marketplace and use Top cashback

  • Same but not tracked yet
    Edit just tracked: $26.70

    • How long did it take to track?

      • Less than an hour for me

    • $62.30 net?

  • +2

Been wanting to get an air fryer, thanks OP!

  • Awesome. Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP. I had bought the same unit in Nov 2022 and the teflon is showing signs of scratches. Bought this new one to replace :)

    • +23

Isn’t it sad that we can’t just buy the tray, but instead we have to buy a whole brand-new unit. I don’t mind so much with air fryers because the unit starts to smell after while anyway and needs to be replaced anyway. But I have a perfectly good rice cooker that if I could just buy the cooking bowl, I could save the remainder of it. As a society, we just don’t care about throwing perfectly good Working things away If a part needs replacing. It’s sad with this concern about waste and recycling and the environment and climate change.

      • +2

True that. Lucky for me my local hard rubbish fb group is very active and I already have takers. Thought it might take awhile without the basket thingy but it was easier than I thought. Still appliances not being long lasting is a real concern :(

      • Yeah, my instant pot one from 2021 is getting pretty yucky with the oil build up on the sides/fan and there is no viable way of cleaning it. I only use soft sponge to clean the tray, so the non-stick coating are fine. But the built up in the unit and the silcone feet are getting pretty bad.

      • I did look up replacement trays/baskets for my older Philips air fryer, and it was something silly like $80 for the basket, and then another $80 for the tray, might as well buy a new one for that

      • True. But I am sure a new basket would cost more than $80 anyway.

      • +4

The establishment only care about the environment when taxing (or reducing) a gas that is involved in everyday life is involved.

        • +4

Which is why Private Jets are the most obvious things to ban, yet never even part of a conversation. Just things that will make life harder for poor people.

And for some unknown reason the pushers of the climate change agenda keep buying bigger ocean front houses even though the sea level will rise above them in 10 years.

Will this size fit a chicken in it?
