Source news.com.au so not sure if this is deal worthy. It's a 12 week special apparently.
Coles Light Tasty Cheddar Block 1kg and Coles Colby Cheese Block 1kg are also reduced to the same price. Coles Simply Cheddar Cheese Block 1kg is reduced from $9.90 to $9.
Tonight, I bought a kilo of Coles Cheddar for $9.00.
The receipt says that it is Australian Cheddar.

That's not how it works, maybe it got pushed out again as it was near the expiry date, there has been a bit of activity on this post in the past few days so it was strange to get comments and votes for such an old deal.
It’s been $9.50 at Aldi and IGA this entire time. I skipped the cheese price scam going at Cole’s and Woolies, their cheese is inferior anyway.
Black and Gold 1kg was $8.70 today..
But I've never tried it.
Back to $13.90. Still cheap at Woolworths and ALDI for now.

Not many rave reviews that I can see bbb. Best of an average bunch of affordable block cheddars seems to be the general consensus. What was your verdict on taste? I gave it about a 6.5. Good vintage cheddars start at ~8 on that scale. To my taste buds vintage cheddars have significantly sharper taste, even the "cheap" ($14/kg) Aldi vintage block.
