This promotion is similar to the previous Mother’s Day gift card deal, except:

  • The bonus points on offer this time around are lower.

  • The bonus points awarded for gift cards purchased through the Everyday Rewards app is based on the gift card’s face value, instead of the amount spent after applying the 3% discount.

This offer is only available to registered Everyday Rewards members who received this offer directly via this email or in their Everyday Rewards app.

How it works
To enjoy this offer you must click through the ‘Shop Gift Cards’ button in this email and spend at least $150 on Qualifying Gift Cards~ in a single transaction during the promotional period via Everyday Gifting in the Everyday Rewards app or the website giftcards.woolworths.com.au/spendandget/c/spendandget, provided that either are accessed via the ‘Shop Gift Cards’ button only. Rewards members must enter their Everyday Rewards Card number at checkout if purchasing via giftcards.woolworths.com.au/spendandget/c/spendandget.

If you spend:

  • $150 - $199.99 you will collect 1000 points
  • $200 - $249.99 you will collect 1400 points
  • $250 or more you will collect 1600 points

This offer can be used in conjunction with the 3% off offer when making a purchase through Everyday Gifting in the Everyday Rewards app only. You will collect points based on the full value of the Qualifying Gift Card purchased before the 3% discount is applied when you purchase through the app.

The offer can be enjoyed once only, and can only be redeemed on your first purchase during the promotional period, irrespective of whether you purchase your Qualifying Gift Card via Everyday Gifting in the Everyday Rewards app or at giftcards.woolworths.com.au/spendandget/c/spendandget.     Few people had indicated that their credit card was being blocked when purchasing the gift card. I had the same issue and decided to add the card on the Rewards App wallet before purchasing the gift card & that worked. It certainly worked and suggest those having issues to try that option.

    • I tried this and had no success with my NAB and ANZ cards.

      • Same, already had CBA card in the EDR wallet, did nothing.

        Removed all cards & tried manually with CBA & ING cards none worked.

        Added ING card to EDR wallet, still doesnt work.

        I've almost given up the idea of getting this deal working.

        i'm not on any VPN (others talked about this), also tried via WIFI and 4G, nothing.

        Also tried via 3 different phones, nothing. Have bought gift cards on the CBA card plenty of times, so the gambling setting isnt the issue. ING doesnt seem to have this setting either.

        • BOQ debit card is the only card which I can get to work, I have cards from around 10 other Australian banks (incl big4) and all of them get rejected, even though they receive the 2FA SMS etc.

          • @surfingedge: make sure your account has a mobile number as it lòoks like Woolies will reject any gift card purchases from accounts that do not have one. I had to contact them to have my mobile number added as the online portal would fail when I tried to add it..

            • @kommy: My Everyday Rewards account had no mobile phone number attached to it, but after I added one, I was still unable to add a credit card (let alone purchase a gift card).

              When I called the Everyday Pay team for assistance, they contacted the IT team, who suggested I should change the email address on my account. After I did that, I was able to add a credit card and purchase a gift card. I have no idea what was wrong with my old email address…

  • Same here, tried 1 Westpac credit card and NAB Debit, payment unsuccessul
    added to wallte just fine ?

    • Updated; after 30 mins on their chat - they were able to fix my rewards profile - apparently I never had a mobile number attached to it
      After that I was able to buy again - and it worked

    For those having issues with credit cards, make sure you have a mobile number registered with your Everyday account.

    • anyone else just getting the following error msg when trying to put in a mobile number?

      'Something went wrong
      Sorry we are unable to save your preference, please try again later.'

      • I had the same problem. had to use chat to get them to update the number.

      • Yeah, I've tried to put in my mobile number both on the web site and via app - errored out each time.
        Had to call them to change it.

  • I go the the website that is linked to the promo but it’s not providing me the 3% Off the card value am I missing something?

    • There are two ways to take advantage of this deal:

      • The website linked to this deal post.
      • The Gift Card Store on the Everyday Rewards app.

      The only way you can get 3% off Woolworths Group gift cards and take advantage of this deal is the Gift Card Store on the Everyday Rewards app.

    • T&Cs say up to 14 business days after the end of the promotion (which is ending today).

  • Banners on app and browser state "Offer ends 08:59 AEST" today. Did they pull this earlier?

    Whereas, t&c still say 23:59 AEST today.

  • I just tried to buy and had errors saying something went wrong. Tried 2 diff credit cards mc and visa both error

    • I got errors as well when using the saved card info on phone
      It worked when I entered the card details manually

      I have not received my bonus points yet.

      The deal terms and conditions says the points may not be credited until 29 or 30 August, so I am not worried at this stage.

      • Thanks for that. The deal said up to 14 business days later so should’ve been paid already but maybe I calculated the date wrong.

        • The deal says:

          Your bonus points will take up to 14 business days to be loaded onto your Everyday Rewards Card after the end of the promotional period.

          This deal ended on 11 August, and today is the 9th business day after the deal ended. 12-16 August are the first five business days after the deal ended, and 19-22 August are the next four business days.
