Fexit 180mg Fexofenadine, Hayfever Allergy Relief 70 Tablets $10.99, 140 Tablets $19.99 Delivered @ PharmacySavings

850

Hi Ozbargainers,

Once in a while a stonker of a deal comes along from one of our suppliers and I always try my best to be on their radar so I'm the first one they call. Last week I was approached and asked to take all stock in Australia of Trust Fexit 180, 70Tab boxes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fexofenadine . Like the closet Broaden I am - I took the bait and bought all available stock. This batch expires at the end of November 2024, so it is perfect for peeps to see out the 2024 Spring Allergy season. I was able to wrangle an awesome deal and have passed on all savings straight through to Ozbargainers tonight.

Trust Fexit 180 (or any Fexo brand generally) NEVER goes on sale at wholesaler level and there is NEVER any excess of this product to clear from the manufacturers as it's such a strong seller in Oz - so this is blue moon event.

Any stock left over I'll liquidate on eBay, but I thought I'd let Ozbargainers have first bite of the cherry. I have just over 2,500 boxes in stock and I've pre-packed about 1/4 of that so I can get orders out the door quickly tonight. I'm expecting to sell thousands of items - so please be patient with dispatch (first 400 sales will go quickly the rest will dispatch over the next few days)

Reminder that I have "Aust Post Priority" available @ 99c for letter items, this cuts shipping times by around 50% over standard envelope delivery time frames, please consider this if in a rush - I can predict COVID levels in the community by the speed at which standard envelope mail gets delivered (the slower the mail the more staff at Aust Post taking sickies) - my COVID barometer is running hot at the moment.

  • Thanks, grabbed some. But the Tip section on the checkout threw me off.

It's been on the website since day 1, the tips actually offset the buyer fraud and help keep prices low - completely optional but highly appreciated when peeps tip, encourages me to keep posting the deals and legitimately does keep the prices down.

Must just be me. I despise tipping.

        • You should consider tipping for this seller at least. I always chuck at least 10% their way as a 'thank you' for providing awesome deals and keeping prices low. Even though I grew up in a country where tipping is consider nearly mandatory I still only tip when I feel I've received superior service, and in the case of Jason it's well-earnt.

@Chazzozz: I’m a firm believer that Australia should not embrace the American culture of tipping.

Our employees should be paid enough to live, unlike America.

A seller should be factoring their wage into the prices. If they’re not, that’s on them.

@athk: Believe what you want but the fact is, this OPTIONAL tipping feature has been there since day 1 and again is completely at your discretion.

As much as I despise tipping (in many situations) too, the OP has given me benefits over the last couple of years and adding a buck or two here and there for the good offer and prompt service is well worth it esp. saving more than 50%.

Next time these offer dries up I sincerely invite you to head to your nearest chemist - spend your energy and time, and pay twice the price.

@athk: I totally agree. I also like to give credit where it's due, but I understand that not everyone believes the same. Hence why I'm glad I live in Oz where we don't have to feel guilty for not tipping if we don't feel like it.

I was visiting the U.S. for work once and had breakfast in the restaurant of the hotel I stayed at and didn't tip the server, mostly because I honestly didn't even think of it. The next morning, the server must've remembered me because I didn't even get a smile or 'hello' when my order was taken. That time I didn't tip on principle. Another time I was visiting to see relatives and when I mentioned to a waitress that I was from Australia and didn't have a clue if I should be tipping or not she was nice enough to say, "Oh, that's okay, now that I know where you're from I understand if you don't leave a tip." I still tipped her anyway, because she was really good at looking after us and she was being considerate.

@athk: Given the pricing already and having such slim margins, I felt it was reasonable.

You'd be paying almost double in the shops.

For most places I despise tipping, especially places that already charge a premium or where you do all the work with self-serve.
Jason has saved me $100’s on hayfever medication and when I saw his last deal had been removed as a dupe causing him cashflow issues I was glad the tipping option was there to show support for the great deals.

  • You actually saved me, haha! Big thanks.

  • Cracker of a deal

    • I thought so too, but so far around 20x sales only …hmmm must be a slow night on Ozbargain.

      • It is very slow. Very slow everywhere for some reason. Maybe lots of peeps still rocking a BSOD from the global IT outage.

      • It's also winter, so my hayfever is low. Come September, different story.

        • Ugh…winter is my worst time. It seems to be the time when all the wattle in the local area blooms. Spring is actually a relief for me.

People might be put off by the 3-month expiry date.

      • Still stocked from your Hayfexo deal otherwise would've definitely bought up. Having said that it is 12/25 expiry, so could always slide this pack in front :)

For a moment there I thought the French were getting in on some Brexit action.

  • Thanks
    Was about to run out

  • how do these compare to Claratyne or Zyrtec? I've used them in the past.

  • -1

Dumb question but are these ok for colds and flus ? Or just for allergies?

    • Primarily allergies. I've used them in the past to try to stop a runny nose with a cold and it helped a bit.

      • Thanks. I’ll stick with codral and their generics then.

  • Reminder that I have "Aust Post Priority" available @ 99c for letter items

How long has this been a thing? This is a game changer right here.

    • +1

It's a great thing - but Aust Post have a legislated requirement to deliver letter mail anywhere in Oz in 4 working days, in reality they take 9-10-11-12 working days. So now we have the ability to pay more to get items delivered within Aussie Posts own delivery time frames.

    • @jason101 FYI, I ordered on 31st July, arrived today 5th Aug, using default (free) postage to Sunshine Coast. That's 3 business days and a weekend. Hopefully Auspost is getting better, but it may have just been a one-off.

  • can i ask, does it make any difference about the best before date? do they lose the effectiveness after then?

    • Correct - some chemicals even become toxic - https://www.healthdirect.gov.au/out-of-date-medicines
Couldn't find anything specific to fexo expiry with a brief google search - I'd encourage you to do your own research/speak to your GP/pharmacist if you're concerned.

  • These make you drowsy ?

    • +1

      Non-drowsy

  • Thanks!

  • Legend mate

    • Try messaging @jason101 thru ozbargain, I’ve found him quite responsive in the past

    • Yes please PM, thousands of people message our paypal payment address which we can no longer use for enquiries due to the huge number of incoming messages and spam.
