It’s the same panel between the two at 83 inch
might as well just get the SH7Q. for an extra $150 (Pre 20% off ) its a far better sound bar
I’m torn between S60T and SH7Q. Can’t find many reviews on the latter though.

Is it premature to buy a 83inch from this deal? We will be moving into our new home in about 6 months time and started looking at buying furniture and appliances, May be its just FOMO

yeah if you only plan on using it in 6 months, I would wait. Black Friday always has the best deals. At the very least I expect it to be this price.
I think you’ll be lucky to ever see this price again , they’ve never been this low and may never be again ,
and I don’t see it going any lower unless the world economy tanks even lower.

The C4 does not have many improvements compared to last year's C3. There is heavy competition from Samsung in the OLED space and TCL for big screen tv's in general. TV's always come down in price over time. Its not like this is some crazy price error like some of the Dell deals in the past.@puppetmaster: Seems to me that manufacturers are trying to scoop up some cash early in the tv cycle when there’s a downturn throughout the economy , Just like car manufacturers are doing , and trying to capture market share in a shrinking market .
Maybe you’re right , in that there’s new players pushing for more of a share and perhaps innovation and efficientcys in manufacturing are making them able to reduce margins ,
It just seems very cheap for close to the very best and largest of some amazing technology.
If the world economy keeps tanking , with and east vs west warmish war and oil producers desperately trying to claw every last cent from the western world while they can then cheap TV’s and cheaply made cars are probably the only benefit we can expect .
I think with LED getting so much closer to OLED in quality they need to keep dropping OLED prices. I’d wait.
Buy after moving in. Not 100% certain about this but I got friends telling me that general removalists would only move TVs up to 65” in size (something to do with their insurance). Over 65” sized TVs, you’d need to get some special TV removalist to take care of it.
Also you don’t want to damage your new TV when moving houses!Can you use it at all before then?
Its a long time, and as others mentioned, black friday will take place in that 6-months.

It’s possible , but that’s why they make the G4 with the heatsink if you think you’ll still have this same tv in 20 years .

Is there an LG Soundbar worth getting and keeping with this deal - I have one soundbar and two loungerooms so wouldn't be against getting one.

I grabbed a 83" G4 on the 1st and was given an eta similar to yours, but online last week i saw delivery estimate of 1 week from other retailers, and the LG website says there is stock available.
Im going to chase up and see if the time frame has moved forward….
