It’s because of the low 10% HDR highlight brightness, it’s roughly half as bright so HDR doesn’t look that different from SDR

Better explanation is that the Dell is brighter for office related work, LG is a lot brighter for most HDR gaming

Most of Dell’s warranty replacements are refurbs, as was mine (which had even more hours with other issues)

The time to look is after the warranty period - I’d expect a lot will get burn in around the 3-4year mark, mine lasted half that
