Seems to be a bug, every order I make has $1 off.
Note: still available, but a majority of the low value items has been marked as 'Temporarily out of stock'.

@Ozbargainasaurus: Interesting. One time I cancelled s&s before I received the item and it cancelled the delivery (it was an ozb deal). Too scared to make that mistake again.
@Tinky Winky: Never for me, must have done it at least 100 times. I don't bother putting in reason either, just press cancel.
@Tinky Winky: Happened to me twice last year. Order was cancelled as soon as I cancelled S&S before shipping. One was a deal and price had already increased. I contacted Amazon but they couldn't do anything
Imagine if they charge our cards full prices
You’d wanna hope you’ve got a debit card then.

Sunflower seeds, ~50c for 100g. Not substantial savings compared to a larger bag at supermarket but ok
www.amazon.com.au/Galaxy-Foods-Sunflower-Seed-Kernels/dp/B08…
can we eat that
People have eaten them for thousands of years.
is this able for human consumption too ?
https://www.woolworths.com.au/shop/productdetails/9115/frank…
@capslock janitor: Only if you're a friend of Frankie (he bites)
Plant them & enjoy the flowers, then eat the fresh seeds🌻🌻🌻 As I've done.
Local birds will be your friends🐦
But will likely have impurities & seed husk you may not enjoy. Just think of it as added fibre🚽
As a couple examples add to muesli, baked goods, in salads, wraps/tacos, in burger mix, garnish in soups, in sauces eg. pesto, or in smoothies if you have a blender that can handle nuts/seeds
cheers for ideas
@capslock janitor: No prob! Also good roasted particularly if using as garnish
@snoopydoop: do u know if the one i posted above also for humans ?
@capslock janitor: Omg lol I'm not too sure! I've never thought to look in the pet aisle lol but it's possible
I'm not sure if there's some process they go through to make it fit for humans or anything
@snoopydoop: Its bird food.
Likely contains unhulled seeds & impurities - good roughage for birds.
@snoopydoop: @INFIDEL

"Sunflower Bird Seed Mix" is generally not safe or acceptable for human consumption for several reasons:
Quality Control: Bird seed mixes are not produced under the same stringent quality controls as human food. They may contain contaminants, such as dirt, stones, or other foreign materials, that are not acceptable in food for humans.
Pesticides and Chemicals: Seeds intended for birds may be treated with pesticides or chemicals that are not approved for use on food intended for humans.
Storage and Handling: The storage and handling conditions for bird seed are not regulated to the same standards as food for human consumption, potentially leading to contamination by pests or mold.
Additives: Bird seed mixes may contain additives or preservatives that are safe for birds but not necessarily safe for humans.
Potential Contaminants: Bird seed can be more susceptible to contamination with aflatoxins or other mycotoxins due to less rigorous testing and quality control.
For these reasons, it's important to only consume sunflower seeds and other seeds that are specifically labeled and processed for human consumption.
@snoopydoop, so your deal at 54c//100g was good compared to supermarket at 80c//100
Not substantial savings compared to a larger bag at supermarket but ok

@capslock janitor: Yes - why I suggested planting the seeds, enjoy the beautiful flowers🌻, & harvest fresh seed to eat. I've done it.
Pet food is cheaper as it doesn't have to comply with human food standards.

Maybe "sold by ultrahuman store" rather than amazon? But that doesn't seem like a hard and fast rule
It has to be sold by Amazon AU
