12 Months Amazon Prime Membership: 32,000pts (or Points + Pay Combinations up to 5,000pts + $67) @ Telstra Plus Rewards Store

340

May be targeted, I just used 32,000 points for annual Amazon prime membership. I already had prime membership so it extended for another year.

Enjoy an Amazon Prime 12- month membership for 32,000 Telstra Plus points

Telstra Plus members can redeem their points for a 3-month or 12-month Amazon Prime membership. Amazon Prime offers fast, free standard delivery of millions of products (excludes select remote areas). Members will also get access to world-class entertainment with Prime Video, music and podcasts with Prime Music, and e-Books with Amazon Reading. Get your membership today, gift it to someone else, or extend your current membership.

3-month offer will roll onto standard monthly auto-renewing membership fees (currently $9.99/month), and 12-month offer will roll onto annual membership fees (currently $79/year) for Amazon Prime after the promotional period ends unless you change or cancel beforehand. Must redeem via Telstra. Eligibility criteria and T&Cs apply. Free expedited delivery excludes select remote areas.

  • Membership voucher codes must be activated with Amazon by 15 February 2025.
  • Can't be used in conjunction with any other Amazon offers.
  • You can't take up this offer on an Amazon account where your Prime membership is currently billed via another third party.
  • For existing Amazon Prime members, the 3 or 12 month membership will be added to your account and be applied from your next renewal date.

    This was the deal https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/761727

The one you have posted, I believe it's what it normally is point wise.

    • Oh dear

    • Bought 12 Months Prime for 24,000! All from points earnt FREE in Deals. Still have few months left.

  • Talk about inflation from last year!

    • +1

Prime membership has gone up 30% in 1 year so not a surprise the points method has done the same.

    • Thats 33.3% inflation from last year to be exact.

  • Tried browser x 2 and phone, won't let me check out.

  • Thx op, 28k points were about to expire in a month, this was useful to extend membership.

  • Is this good value for Telstra points?

    • +2

      1000 points = $3

      • -1

32k points would be $96. How’s this offer a deal?

        • +2

Some people have points that would otherwise expire and this is better value than redeeming for a gift card at least… 32,760 points would get you a $50+$10=$60 Amazon gift card (which is the cheapest GC listed) - this is 32,000 points for Amazon Prime membership currently valued at $79… roughly $20 ahead in that sense

          • @pavlos: Makes sense

          • @pavlos: Exactly this….

I had roughly 23000 Telstra points effectively suspended as I didn't have an active service and that I was about to lose.
I bought a temporary 14day $10 telstra prepaid sim from Ebay as I needed to port in and out of Boost, but this was enough to deem me to have an 'active' service to unlock these points.

I added an additional $23 to these points and got an extension to my Prime account for 12 months.
By unlocking the points I was able to utilise and save over $50 towards my next months Prime subscription.

  • "May be targeted" well I always get targeted by Telstra either for virus on my computer or by Amazon customer service who are going to charge me $99.99, unless I press 1 for help…😄

Ditto but dont worry as Telstra block millions of spam messages each day so they tell me. My number must be one of the ones Telstra forgot to protect…

  • You must have an active service to redeem too I think.

I also redeemed one as my previous 24k points membership expired earlier this month (as worked out "better" than gift card)

  • worked for me, thanks

Looks like Telstra is ending it soon, updated T&C:

Amazon Prime will no longer be offered via Telstra Plus after 2 December 2024. Voucher codes must be redeemed by 31 December 2024.

When you sign up for Amazon Prime, your membership will automatically renew at the end of your chosen membership period. You’ll therefore need to provide credit card details in addition to your membership voucher code. You can turn off automatic renewal at any time in your Amazon account settings.
