Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the offer where the first 40,000 eligible Amazon.com.au customers who are invited by Amazon, whether through email, push notification or onsite marketing at Amazon.com.au or in the Amazon App while signed into their Amazon customer account can receive $10 off a purchase of $39 or more eligible item(s) when they use the promotional code PRIME10JOIN at Checkout if they sign-up for a Prime membership before 31 May 2025 (“Offer”). This Offer ends at 11.59pm (Sydney time) on 31 May 2025 or the Offer being fully redeemed. The promotional credit must be redeemed by 11.55pm (Sydney time) 30 June 2025.
To redeem this Offer, eligible customers must be one of the first 40,000 to sign-up for a Prime membership before 31 May 2025 and redeem their promotional credit before 30 June 2025. The $10 promotional credit will be available within 24 hours of Prime sign-up. Eligible customers must add at least $39 worth of eligible item(s) to their cart at Amazon.com.au or in the Amazon App, enter the promotional code at Checkout, and the discount will be applied to the eligible items. If a customer does not add any eligible items to cart, the promotional code and this Offer will not apply. The promotional code is single use and can only be redeemed once by eligible customers. If a customer cancels or returns any eligible item purchased using the promotional code, they will only be refunded the price paid for those eligible items (that is, less the value of the promotional code) and the promotional code will be invalidated.
For the purposes of these terms and conditions “eligible items” refers to any product sold at Amazon.com.au or in the Amazon App but does not apply to: (1) products sold by Amazon US, Amazon UK, Amazon Japan, or Amazon Germany Global Stores even if fulfilled by Amazon AU; (2) clothing apparel; (3) alcohol; and (4) digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Prime Video and Audible, gift cards and postage or delivery rates.

This Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. This Offer cannot be used on pre-existing orders. This Offer does not apply to orders placed with 1-Click. This Offer is not transferable and may not be resold. This Offer is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or amended without notice. This Offer is not redeemable for cash. This Offer is non-transferable and may not be resold.

The Amazon.com.au Conditions of Use and Sale apply. Delivery charges will be applied to each item in accordance with the Amazon.com.au standard delivery rates and policies. If a customer violates any terms and conditions of this Offer, use of the promotional code will be invalid, and the customer will not be eligible for this Offer. Amazon may elect to cancel a transaction (and refund monies paid) if it considers that a customer is violating these terms or to address suspected misuse, abuse or fraud. Amazon reserves the right to cancel this Offer at any time where it suspects misuse, abuse or fraud.

This serves as a reminder to turn off auto-renew.

I haven't had ebay plus for a few months now and tbh haven't missed it. Amazon will be harder but they keep putting their price up.

I had to do some calculations to see if prime is worth it for the next year after the price increase. Had to export all my purchases, look at the money i saved on subscribe and save stuff, and it adds up to a year of membership, so I'll keep getting it as it saves me a lot of time to just get things delivered home rather than going to a store, plus the usual last minute purchase for gifts

You don't need to be Prime member to use S&S.

And you still get free delivery as long as you meet the minimum spending threshold.

        • Yeah, but sometimes meeting that Threshold is hard unless i overstock on some items, or they all get discounted at the same time so i can combine them.

Prime is pretty useless in my region, better off with OnePass, or just buying cheaper elsewhere.

every couple of months or so I attempt to purchase something. they'll always prompt you to buy the product with Prime but declining that will eventually bring you to the checkout page where they will sometimes offer you 1 mth of free Prime. if they don't offer it, no loss as I won't buy the product until they re-offer it again lol.

  • If I need an occasional Prime item then I'll just spend the $60 for free delivery. They don't have enough that's actually in stock at a cheap price; I certainly don't get the benefits of fast shipping when it takes two weeks for Fastway to deliver stuff.

Heck, I've had most AliExpress Choice items delivered faster than Amazon.

    • Wait till you got parcel from Couriers Please(HURRY) local Sydney took 10days while my amazon.jp show up in 7days.

  • at the moment prime is pretty useless since it takes them about 3 to 5 days to deliver in QLD. if you are new to prime this is unacceptable should be over night for most prime delivers.
