    I can see Snail's point. I have an Iconia A500 which I believe has the same resolution and the screen is mostly good, but it would be nice if it were really sharp to be able to read PDFs with fine text. The pixel density is 149, contrast that to the new iPad's 264.

        no problem, I think there's a small minority of the Android people around here that are insecure, to the point that if any unfavourable comparison is made to an apple product their only way to counter it is to neg it. note: I am an Android person myself.

  Good price but the Asus tf300 for $397 is a much better buy- for an entry level 10" android tab.

      It's a staff discount card. Know someone who works there, or work there yourself and you get a card or two.

  Anyone find these tablets a touch too big? My partners ipad i find is just a fraction too big to hold nicely in my hands.I have to move my hand if i want to use my thumb to touch the middle of the tablet, might sound stupid but i find it annoying.

    'tried a 7" tab yet?

    I find 'em small (& their borders too large, generally) & might wait for a SmartPhone to grow to have a similar screen viewing size, sans the border.

  Got a Samsung Galaxy Note (With "pen") 10.1 3G + WiFi n8000 16 GB for AUD 632.60 from Jb Hi Fi.
  They price matched web deal from unique mobiles + GST + postage.
  Got it last weekend.
  It is absolutely stunning and beats my old tablet hands-down.
  I don't want to start a fan war by claiming that it is better than iPad 3, but I did my research. My brother in law has the new iPad (3). The only place that Apple beat the Sammy was in display (brighter colours) and the number of Apps in App store.
  Otherwise, I felt that the android device was a winner.
