Looks like a kids helmet from Kmart.
Shouldn't there be a lot more vents, aero-looking spikes and go-fast stripes for that price?
AND WTF is is with so many road cyclist wearing all-black including the helmet lately? Are they suicidal, or just stupid?$199 and you're expecting aero and go-fast paint? You'd be lucky to get aero socks for that. A proper aero helmet is going to run you much more, which is very worth it when all the coffee shop crowd oooh and ahhh at you. (so much /s)

Yes. I'd say it's pretty typical of the self-absorbed culture we're constantly growing, people seem to forget they're sharing the road (and planet) with many other people who might need to see them at some point.
Black is slimming :P
Yellow or White would highlight your fats to the world!
Needs to be horrendous Stackhat orange to get my attention
Good helmet, great price. I like my Protone. But the chin strap was not very lasting. It flaked off and looks terrible now. The sticky little inserts at the back of the head lost the glue and dropped off. Laminated plastic at the back peeled off.
I still use it but it is a bit ugly.
Not covered by the warranty. I bought it a while ago though. That sucks, I had mine for 5+ years and never had an issue with the chin strap (the fake(?) leather is so much nicer than others) besides it getting caked in salt from sweat after rides; even though I washed it after every ride. That aside it was faultless. No peeling, glue failing or anything.
Only upgraded because it was past its technical use-by and that 60% of POC helmet sale was perfect timing/pricing for me.
I miss my Kask,
Great quality helmets
