Welcome to the ultimate guide of Xbox Game Pass subscriptions!

IMPORTANT UPDATE 26 JULY 2023:

OlduBil: "Transfers from foreign bank accounts to our bank accounts in Turkey are not possible".

  • OlduBil is no longer accepting deposits/transfers from foreign bank accounts. Please DO NOT make any transfers into OlduBil (i.e. your Türkiye Mastercard) until further notice!

  • If you already have the funds in OlduBil from a previous transfer, you are free to use it for anything. For those wanting to top up your Türkiye Mastercard, please DO NOT initiate any transfers into OlduBil from Wise or Revolut until I have a new update

  • This deal is expired and is effectively over at this point in time. Every transfer done is at your own risk!

18/07/23: OlduBil has increased their top-up fees to 9.3% (up from 6.25%) stating "Dear customer, our global operations cost increased due to high inflation rate in Turkish Lira. In order to continue the service we provide you we had to change our top-up commission to 9,3%. We appreciate your understanding and support."

Updates:

  • 26/06/23 11:40pm - Turkish Lira have crashed even more, so I've corrected all prices in this guide!
  • 26/06/23 11:40pm - Fixed the incorrect plan total amount, thanks to @6wolfy9
  • 27/06/23 1:30pm - Due to the sudden and large number of transfers from you guys, Wise is now giving a transfer date of 3rd July. Please avoid Wise if you can and go the Revolut route. I can confirm Revolut transfers are much faster within minutes (or hours at the latest). For those who have already initiated a transfer via Wise, feel free to cancel the transfer (or let it send anyway in case you want to buy cheap Turkey products and services or sign up to other cheap Turkey subs) and go to Revolut.
  • 28/06/23 1:00pm - Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer. - thanks to @netsurfer
  • 03/07/23 2:00am - Edited method, I'm so sorry for making all of you pay for an extra month for no reason for the 36 months plan. Please forgive me.
  • 04/07/23 6:30pm - Microsoft must have caught on, and are blocking OlduBil Virtual cards due to security issues (good fraud prevention). This is an easy fix, and THIS DEAL IS STILL WELL AND ALIVE! Here's what you need to do:
    • Log on microsoft, then go to Contact Us. Click "Contact us" to bring up the 'Contact us' window. For the first dropdown field "What are you having trouble with", select "Subscriptions and Billing". For the second dropdown field "What's the issue", select "I need help purchasing content". For the third field "Describe your issue", man up and say something. Click "Next" > "See contact options" > "Chat online" then you'll be connected with an agent instantly. Tell them you are not able to add your credit card and ask if there's a problem on your MS account. If they ask ridiculous questions, pretend it's all working fine and start a new chat.

Credits to @Scrooge McDeal, who suggested I make a guide on this awesome ALL TIME LOW deal! And you probably know me by now - if I make a guide, best believe it's gonna be good (let me know if someone else can do it better pls). Like Netflix and Disney Plus and literally every guide I've made, I spent a chunk of money out of generosity to test the current validity of this method (I tested transfers from Wise into OlduBil) as well as annotating screenshots throughout the sign-up process (see screenshots in the instructions section). From this testing, I believe this opens a new doorway to a variety of insane deals and prices we weren't able to previously obtain. Please show some love and any comments, concerns, suggestions or feedback are welcome :)

Modern problems require modern solutions. Like Youtube, Netflix, Discord, Google One, Microsoft 365, relocating (virtually of course) to Turkey is usually the best option, with some methods saving hundreds or thousands of dollars each year added up.

The processes below are very easy, just take it slow and you'll get there! Just remember you'll be saving hundreds at the end of the day. The 14 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan will cost ₺374,94 TL ($21.64 AUD, or $1.55/mth) and the 36 month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate plan will cost ₺1034,72 TL ($59.68 AUD, or $1.66/mth). Note that despite the long term 36 month plan has a higher $/mth, it works out cheaper because if you signed up to 14 months, you'll be paying almost 3 times higher if you want to extend at the end of the 14th month.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • No VPN required
  • You must have no current subscriptions

Part 2a - Topping up your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard with Wise (App or Web)

Wise fee: ~A$2.13, OlduBil fee: 6.25% of transfer (~A$4.35 for a ₺1200 TL transfer)

Update: 28/06/23 1:00pm - **Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer.

  1. Log in or create an account on Wise. You can use the Wise website, or the Wise app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

  2. Top up Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Wise account (at least $30 AUD for the 14 month plan, $75 for the 36 month plan but no more than $160 because OlduBil allows a maximum deposit of ₺2750,00 TL ≈ A$160 per month). You can add Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Wise account via PayID (instant, no fee), POLi (instant, $1.18 AUD fee) or Manual Bank Transfer (business days only, no fee).

  3. Convert your Australian Dollars (AUD) to Turkish Lira (TRY). This conversion should be instant. To do this, click onto "Australian Dollar", then "Convert", then select AUD → TRY and type in the amount you wish to convert and press "continue" then "convert". Wise charges a 1.07% fee for AUD-TRY conversions.

  4. Send your newly converted Turkish Lira to your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard. To do this, click onto "Turkish Lira", then "Send", then select "Same currency". Enter the amount of Turkish Lira you wish to transfer (Note: Wise charges a ₺24.34 TL flat fee for a single transfer, so this fee will be added onto the amount you enter). Click "continue", then "New contact", then "Someone else". On this page, leave the "their email" box empty, and tick "I know their bank details". For the "Full name of the account holder" field, type in "TURK ELEKTRONIK PARA A.S." and for the "IBAN" field, type in the IBAN you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. Continue and in the "Review transfer details" section (see screenshot), double check everything is correct and then for the "Reference for TURK" field, you must type in your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard number (without spaces). Tick the confirmation box and then "Confirm and send". This transfer will only be initiated during normal Turkey business hours and takes around 10 minutes on Wise's end. My transfer took 2 hours to land into my OlduBil account.

Note: Make sure you only transfer the amount you actually need to pay for your subscription (add a few dollars extra in case due to currency fluctuations) because due to regulations, OlduBil does not allow withdrawals unless you originally signed up with a Turkey phone number.

Part 2b - Topping up your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard with Revolut (App only)

Revolut fee: ~A$1.79, OlduBil fee: 6.25% of transfer (~A$4.35 for a ₺1200 TL transfer)

Update: 28/06/23 1:00pm - **Due to a public holiday in Turkey from 27 June to 1st July (Kurban Bayrami Holiday), all transfers are delayed until Monday 3rd July. Please keep this in mind when making a transfer.

  1. Download the Revolut app on the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android) if you don't already have it installed.

  2. Open the app and log in or create an account (if you don't have it already).

  3. Top up Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Revolut account (at least $30 AUD for the 14 month plan, $75 for the 36 month plan but no more than $160 because OlduBil allows a maximum deposit of ₺2750,00 TL ≈ A$160 per month). You can add Australian Dollars (AUD) into your Revolut account via a debit/credit card (instant, no fee), Apple Pay (instant, no fee), Google Pay (instant, no fee) or Manual Bank Transfer (usually instant, no fee).

  4. Convert your Australian Dollars (AUD) to Turkish Lira (TRY). This conversion should be instant. To do this, select "Australian Dollar", then "Exchange", then select AUD → TRY and type in the amount you wish to convert and press "Review order" then "Sell AUD for TRY". Revolut charges no fee for currency conversions.

  5. Send your newly converted Turkish Lira to your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard. To do this, go to the buttom tabs of the app and click onto "Transfer", then "+ New" (top right corner), then select "Send International". Scroll down and select "Türkiye" as the destination. Enter the amount of Turkish Lira you wish to transfer (Note: Revolut charges a ₺30.15 TL flat fee for a single transfer, so this fee will be added onto the amount you enter). For the transer method, select "Bank Account" (this is probably default anyway). For the Reference field, you must type in your OlduBil Virtual Turkish Mastercard number (without spaces). Click "Continue", then on the "Who to pay" page, tap "+ New" (top right corner). Select the "Business" tab. For the IBAN field, type in the IBAN you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. For the BIC/SWIFT field, type in the BIC code you wrote down in Part 1 Step 3 ~~. For the "Company name", type in "TURK ELEKTRONIK PARA A.S." and ignore the email field. Press "Add the recipient" then on the following page, enter the VakıfBank address (the one from Part 1 Step 3) and review the transfer and estimated arrival, then send it off to Turkey :))

    HELP POINT using Aktifbank: Screenshots of the process for step 5 in the following order: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9)

HELP POINT using VakıfBank: TBC but very similar to Aktifbank (just different bank information) see above screenshots for process

Note: Make sure you only transfer the amount you actually need to pay for your subscription (add a few dollars extra in case due to currency fluctuations) because due to regulations, OlduBil does not allow withdrawals unless you originally signed up with a Turkey phone number.

  • Ok, so going to be trying this for my kid - but account already has some remaining Xbox Live Gold subscription (until Dec) - so just wanted clarity regarding this text in OP

"You must have no current subscriptions"

Im assuming that means no current Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions , and its not referring to existing Xbox Live Gold subs?

My question: Can I not just add the relevant additional Xbox Live Gold months as required? i.e. just purchase the relevant amount of months until I get to 13months of Xbox Live Gold?

    • +1

      I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you're correct.

Here's my understanding: You can get Live Gold, Game Pass PC and Game Pass Console subs all at the same time (which is what the guide gets you to do), but once you buy Game Pass Ultimate it combines the three subs by adding up their months into a single run of Game Pass Ultimate.

Once you have Game Pass Ultimate, you won't be able to buy one of the three lower-tier subs. So in your case, you could start the process and just buy fewer Live Gold subs.

    • How did you go with this?
I have about 9 months on a basic xbox live sub, and it is telling my I can't do it as I already have an active subscription from another region.
Was trying to first add the 3 month packages to take me up to a year (or just about) and then go the other 2 years worth.

  • -1

Wondering if anyone can help me? Been trying to do this for 24hours now. My oldubil balance has been topped up but whenever i try to check out on the xbox site it declines. Ive tried contacting the oldubil support line although they just keep responding to my emails asking for my mobile number… so confusing and this feels like a borderline scam. idk what to do

    • +1

Na it's Microsoft's issue that only their support can resolve (you can just open a live chat and they'll sort it out). Follow the instructions of someone like @isaacsu with the following:

      Visit https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/subscriptions-billing/bi…
      Click Contact Us
Subscription & billing; I need help purchasing content; Can't add credit card to account.
      Next
      See contact options
      Chat online

Give that a crack. A lot of us have had success from a similar method.

      • appreciate your help, i contacted microsoft and they removed the block on the card, everything worked after 2 days of (profanity) around lol, worth it though

    • See above its a region issue, the card is fine. If you have access to an xbox change the region to Turkiye and add the card on the xbox it will work

  • +1

Yep I waited an hour after contacting support (before I received any email) then had no problem adding my Oldubil card!

Just finished the guide and have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate till July 2026. Thanks @I Smell Pennies, that was a lot of effort to put together and keeping up with the updates was also thoroughly appreciated. You're an example of the best this community can bring out mate.

I'll keep an eye out as to how I may pay it forward in future.

  • +1

Well we got there in the end - no email from support but the card worked about an hour after messaging on live chat - thanks so much for your efforts here ISP, a truly impressive bit of money saving here!

    • Thanks for so many of your comments hehe. Again, thanks for your support and enjoy your GPU pass :)

  • +7

If you follow the steps for 36 month Xbox you end up paying for 37 months as gamepass ultimate is an extra month. Better to skip buying 1 month Xbox gold to make it 35 months before adding 1 month ultimate gamepass.

    • +3

so is this a good order?

4x 3 Month Xbox Live Gold subscription(xbox.com), 1x 1 Month Xbox Live Gold subscription(xbox.com), 12x 1 Month Xbox Game Pass for PC subscription(xbox.com), 11x 1 Month Xbox Game Pass for Console subscription(xbox.com), 1x 1 Month Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription(xbox.com)

    • +2

Shit, the whole time I've made everyone pay one extra month. I'm so so sorry. Updating post now (too late for most) :(

      • Not very ozbargain of you:)

    • I have done this by accident as I was just short of a few TRY to buy the last month. Guess it all worked out!

  • +1

Was debating on buying the au ultimate gamepass month but decided to buy the Turkish month. Can confirm cloud gaming works on android app with rune factory 4. Now to find a deal on mobile data…

  • +1

Legend ISP @I Smell Pennies . Finally got it to work.
When details didn't work contacted xbox support. They unlocked the account as was locked. (no email from them, took an hour or so).
When you get your card in xbox. Follow the instructions ISP wrote.
Hope it goes well for rest of you. Goodnight.

Took an hour or so Xbox support.
    Got you a coffee isp.

    • @Mikael Thanks for your support and enjoy your GPU pass :)

  • Regarding mismatch CC info from a PC only user, I follow MS support online chat solution above, and tell them my cc info is 100% correct and let MS rep solve it.
Rep said "I was able to see that this is due to an error on your account that is not allowing you to add the card to it, I have been advised to get it escalated to our payments team" —> "this escalation may be completed before 24 hours, if I get any update before than that I will contact you via email".

I will update my progress to see if it can unlock my oldubill CC

    • +1

Successfully added OldUBill card into my payment after waiting about 6 hours. Note, contact support team is the key for PC only user. And you can use any address in Turkey. In my case, the address does not matter.

      Happy gaming.

    • After about 4~6 hours I had received MS support email. Then I am able to add OldUBill CC into my account.
All done now. with newest method that save 1 month XGPU. Totally I paid about A$68.5 at 27-June. And I left TRY 49.97, maybe use for Spotify.

  • Finally got my lira in oldubill

    Arrived 3am 4 July

    Started with 10AUD
    Revolut converted to 172TL
Sent 151TL ended up with 112TL, so lost about 26% in going from Revolut to oldubil. Is that consistent with what others got?

    • +1

that loss % will be less as there is a 30L flat fee when you transfer from Revolut, so the bigger the transaction the lower the % in fee's due to it being a fixed amount, oldubil also took a cut in form of a % of money transfered, i think from the $100 i've transfered i've used about $10 in fee's and that's also me faffing around transfering from wise to revolut (which was completely unecessary due to the public holiday thing lol) and sending multiple separate transactions…

      • Thanks! In my sleepy state I must’ve only sent $10 because you can’t get money back out of it

      • +1

Correct. The more you transfer, the more beneficial. Oldubil charges a 6.25% fee of whatever arrives into the account.

        • Thanks ISP … appreciate your work, information and effort that you put into helping

  • I have contacted the xbox chat last night and the mismatched CC info error is still there. I contacted them again and they said they will escalate it. I guess my last option will be asking my mate who has a xbox for a favor to add my payment details via xbox..

    • +1

I didn't do support chat or Xbox i just waited till this morning assuming the cool down on the lock would end, and it allowed me to add the payment option… so worth trying to add it this morning and see how you go. I did have the address from yesterday already saved so that's another step in common with most other comments.

I have a new account (assuming not necessary but didn't want to muck around with my 20+ yr MS account with family subs), set to Turkey and have logged in to this account on xbox game pass app/xbox app just to cover that side of things if it's needed.

Don't stress it'll work just a little frustrating if you run into issue's.

  • When I click on part 4 step 1 links, the text is different and translate shows - manage subscription and redirects me to the microsoft page with my o365 subscription

    https://ibb.co/26f8qrx - Turkish Page
    https://ibb.co/FXDPYx1 - MS Account page

    • Turn off auto renew then reload the page and you should be able to use the 'extend' button to purchase again, if that's what you're trying to do

      • I'm unable to get past the first subscription itself

        • Is it a previous subscription? Or a new one you got with your oldubil card? I need context lol

The guide states it pretty simply, so I'm not sure exactly where it's going wrong for you

          • @mojadu: Well i called MS and got my GPU cancelled day before in anticipation to get this deal. Ensured auto renew was off before doing that. The amount showed up last night so today I'm trying to purchase the subscription as per the links above but i get redirected to my accounts page.

            • @igoforthebest: Once you turn auto-renew off, you need to reload the xbox live gold page and another icon becomes clickable with the dollar value.

Need to make sure after every purchase you turn off auto-renew, then reload the page where you purchase another month/3 months etc.

              • @rockqc: I know that but I'm unable to purchase the very first 3 month subscription

                • @igoforthebest: YO if you just cancelled it yesterday it might still be active?

You need your GAMEPASS not to be ACTIVE for this to work.

Auto renew off, but still active counts as a live subscription on your account - and therefore you cant sign up for gold cause you have active ultimate.

so when microst CANCELS your ultimate surely its still active you need to wait for it to expire or use a new account.

                  • @s779881: It’s not active. I have checked on my Xbox and pc both. See the 2nd screenshot I posted. There is no active XBL subscription on my account

  • As a long time lurker and former person living in Aus (I live in NZ now) this was the deal that made me make an account. Made an OlduBil account last week and revolut (as I have an address and NSW drivers licence as revolut isn't in NZ yet and everyone said don't use wise at that time), and waited till the money transferred last night. Could not add the card via the PC (but noticed it accepted the address) but as directed above I jumped on my series X and just changed my console region to Türkiye and rebooted the console then added the card on the console. When it accepted the card (which it did first time after me trying for 40 mins last night on the PC with no luck) I then jumped on my PC to check my card was on the account. When it was I canceled the game pass Ultimate I already had that was expiring in 2 weeks directly on the console (just go to manage subscriptions then cancel, should be an immediate cancelation, no calling microsoft needed) and reset my region on the console back to NZ. I then (on my PC) followed the purchase guide step by step and as I have 2 monitors I had my account memberships on the 2nd monitor refreshing every time I purchased and turning off Auto renew. I did have the purchase throw up an error once or twice but I believe it was because I was trying to translate the page and it didn't like it, but whenever it happened I just refreshed the purchase and it was fine. Can confirm following exactly in order works as intended and I now have ultimate to July 2026.

I also quickly tested cloud gaming on my PC playing Blinx the time sweeper via the XBOX APP and that worked, as well as redeeming the games with gold via PC and checking I was getting the deals with Gold which I was.

On my end it seems everything is working 100% as intended for me as if I got the subscription locally.

AAA+++ 10/10 deal and thanks for being so descriptive in describing the deal clearly.

    • +1

      Also still waiting.

    • +1

      I'm still waiting as well

    • I am still waiting as well using Wise. Sent last night at 10pm. So slow :( I used AKTIFBANK IBAN. Did you use the same?

  • Anyone who was having payment issues with added card to microsoft last night, the issue seems to have been resolved so try again.

  • All done, love your work ISP! Was one that did the transfer on the June 27. OlduBil transfer happened overnight and just did the purchasing with no issue. Cheers!

    • Thanks for your support and enjoy your GPU pass :) @rockqc

  • What's the solution for this?

    https://ibb.co/NrjYpNM

    • You'll need to call and get it cancelled. Thats what i did but now I'm unable to subscribe, not sure if the rep didnt close it properly or what…

      • Mine now says manage subscription on the xbox live gold page even though I've cancelled it, are you the same?

        • Yes, that’s the exact problem I’m facing

          • @igoforthebest: Have you tried calling them? How long ago did you cancel? Might just need to update. I've tried clearing cache, no luck.

            • @skilhgt: Not yet, will try tonight after work, unless the combined brains here come up with another solution before that.

              • @igoforthebest: @I Smell Pennies Any ideas? Say's manage subscription and can't buy even though we have cancelled our gold on the phone. My account/subscription page shows no subscriptions.

@skilhgt: I had this issue this morning. The links included take me to the manage page. I however was able to buy by choosing the dropdown on the top to go to the direct page (eg Xbox live) and then click through there..

  • @I Smell Pennies Tried to tag you directly above sorry, any ideas for the problem me and igoforthebest are having?

    • @skilhgt sorry for the late reply, is the problem still happening?

  • Still Can't add my card to my account, Have tried it on my xbox after changing to Turkey and contacting MS last night. No idea wtf to do now.

    • I followed the steps exactly as outlined and it all works fine

    @I Smell Pennies

    Summary of my results.

Created Revolut and Oldubil accounts fairly seamlessly.
Transferred money to Revolut on the weekend (paid the small fee as I didn't know about weekend surcharge)
Money finally hit Oldubil at 11:30 AEST Monday night

Had the same issues many had wrt card not being accepted. Tried adding it via the Billing & Payments page but no luck.
Raised a chat session with MS No-Helpdesk. Yep, we'll investigate and get back to you shortly.
Nothing, so raised a second chat session. It's a security control as you tried to add card too many times. Should be reset in 24-48 hrs.
Now I thought that this MS trying to delay people.

Went into the Billing address section and deleted the partially create Turkey address (seems to have been saved from first attempt)
Added a new Turkish address, I used:

Address 1: Ziya Gökalp Mahallesi Hürriyet
    Address 2: Bulvarı No:209/B İKİTELLİ
    Küçükçekmece
    Istanbul
    Turkey
    34306

You need to provide name and phone number. After that I went into Add Payment Method and this time it allowed me to add the Oldubil card. Assume that the issue is that when you try and add the card, it tries to match the name on the card against a blank field that it has assigned to the address.

Anyway, after that was all done, I went back into the Turkish site and followed your great instructions (and the extra hint from someone else about making a list and crossing off after each purchase, auto-renew cancellation)

When my kids got up this morning they confirmed that the console and PC are both working as per normal and show subscription out to 2026.

A huge thankyou for this post as I was just about to purchase a 3-mth Aust subcription to get them through the school holidays. They are over the moon and O got brownie points with that missus for the huge saving.

    Cheers

OK, so I had the card payment issue like everyone else. Contacted MS support as instructed in comments. They said account was on temp lock due to card being suspicious and they will lift lock. They sent an email verifying this had been done. It was late so went to bed.
Got up this morning, was able to add oldubil card as payment. Ran through the steps for 36 months and now have 36 months worth!

    Thank you all!

    • Can you confirm you actually received an email saying it was unlocked? I contacted MS again as I haven't got one from last night and said i should get one in an hour (its apparently still being finalised).

      • I contacted them last night, like 10 or 11pm. Signed up at midnight-ish when my card was accepted, so the 1-2 hour estimate they gave me was correct. Woke up this morning and had an email from them at 5am saying lock was removed. So the email came much later than the actual resolution

      • I actually got an email overnight saying that after investigation my account would remain locked and would not be re-activated for purchases!

But I tried anyway, was able to add an AU card back in and then tried the OlduBil Card and that worked too 🤷‍♂️.

I then followed the procedure and got the 36 month Ultimate!

        Do not despair.. try again..

      • Yes, I did overnight as I slept.

    • Enjoy your GPU pass :)

got 70 TRY left in my oldubill… what can I do with it :P

  • Steps worked a treat after getting MSFT support to unlock my account. Thanks OP!

My journey has ended! Thank you I smell pennies. I love you long time.

Btw, do we cancel the ultimate recurring payment?

    • +1

      Yes

    • Thanks for your support and enjoy your GPU pass :)

And yes, cancel your recurring for Ultimate. @zorrt

  • +1

Follow the guide a-z as it is , works like a charm.. Thanks OP

    • Thanks for your support and enjoy your GPU pass :)

  • I had the card payment issue like everyone else.

    Here is what I did:
    1. clear the "activity data" under "Privacy" in my Microsoft account. There are "Location activity", "Browse history " etc… I just cleard all of them.

    1. Set the "Country or region" to Turkey in "your info" under "the Microsoft account"

    2. Went into the Billing address section and deleted the Turkey address that I created before.
      Added a new Turkish address.

4 I tried to add a new payment method with my "oldubil" master card, it went through.

At last, I followed the steps exactly as outlined and it all worked fine.

    Thank you all.

    • Tried all that still get the error, even got an email from MS saying it was "fixed". so im at a loss here.

  • +1

    I am there! Success!

This was after receiving an email from Microsoft Support over night stating:

We have performed a thorough analysis of the account. Due to suspicious activity associated with this account, we will not be reinstating this account and supporting further purchases.
We understand the inconvenience this places on you, but we will be unable to provide further assistance regarding this account or the transactions.

But then I changed my region back at AU, added an AU card without issue, and then added my OlduBil CC with no issues.. then subscribed away! Phew!

Thanks to all you here for all the comments and support as well as @I Smell Pennies for researching this and getting it documented!

  • Successfully worked for me, Revolut to OlduBil without any issues. Now I've just gotta get the Xbox app on PC working! Also seems like Perks may not be working, but not overly fussed about that

  • Thanks OP!
Purchased all passes without issue except I am short of 3 Turkish Lira for the Ultimate LOL
Waiting for Revolut to complete it's process and money to appear in Oldubil.
I translated the Xbox Ultimate subscription page, it says "The Offer will expire in one day". Does that mean I won't be able to convert if I don't purchase today?

    • +1

The offer is the discounted pass. You will need to pay a bit higher price after that.

  • Am I still the only one that cant add their card? I've tried every solution in here but still get the information doesnt match error. Doing it on console and PC, changing and removing everything.

    • Ok so I just got it to work on a new account? My existing account had some left over USD/SGP balance and thats the only thing I can think is the issue. I can still do this with a new account and access Gamepass on my main account right?

  • Contacted support yesterday night, still haven't got the email update this morning. But I can add the virtual credit card to my xbox account (existing AU one) and added 3 years of XGPU subscription. However I lost a day of subscription due to doing the transactions across 8am, which supposes to be the day-change time.

Anyway, big thanks to OP for making this wonderful guide and get us a hugh saving!

  • Still waiting on Oldubil - Wise says they sent it last night but nothing has shown up yet. I guess nothing will til 4pm today?
