      I prefer clitpoint to trackpad. Mouse is still best, so not much point on a barely-portable desktop replacement like this.

        It saves time, especially if you touch-type. You don't need to move your hand away from the keyboard home row to use the pointer.
        Good for work - coding or writing.

      Yes you can set the trackpoint in low sensitivity mode so I use that for pixel peeping/minor adjustments versus trackpad

      Absoloutely!

      I hate trackpads (especially the Apple glass one which everyone says they love, but still uses an external mouse) and external mice don't work on your lap, in a datacentre, on a bus/train or anywhere else that would actually require a laptop.

      Nipple mouse FTW.
