This is kinda self-descriptive.
Denon Receiver that plays Blu-ray, DVD, CD and has a USB port. It has Dolby Virtual Speaker so you can get sorround sound from just two speakers.
Included is a remote and batteries as well as the power cable (just need an adapter to plug it in OZ).
It seems that this is a pretty good deal looking at some OZ sites where the same thing costs $1500 (although that is with two speakers). Amazon Germany reduced it by 550 Euro and it can be shipped here (up to 11 business days).

  • Region locked? If it is Aust Blu-Ray will play (same region) but DVD won't.

    • Don't know about DVD's. If you are interested you could just shoot an e-mail to Denon. of course you can always play DVDs that you made (homevideos, birthdays etc.) if you get my gist.

  • Only stereo. You could get a proper 5.1 amp and separate Blu-ray player (with CD! and DVD! and USB oh my!) for less money.

Yes, but would it have a Kopfhörer!?

Sure but keep in mind this is actually a pretty good brand. What you say is like: you can get a micro stereo system for $39 from Kmart - no need to buy the Bang and Olufsen. You are right in that they are both stereos - you do pay for quality, brand, and image though.

The few reviews I read stated that this is a mini-intergrated amp and player about 2/3 the width of a normal receiver, so it's good for people who don't have the space for a separate blu-ray and cd player and a receiver.

However it's not so good in terms of connectivity, as it only features one composite video and one hdmi connector. So if you're looking for av switching this isn't the unit for you.
