$1199 for the 75" seems crazy too

    • +5

I didn't have a plan to buy a new tv… but upgrading my 1080p 50" to that, for that price… not bad.

    • +5

People will prob scoff at this but I was about to buy a Hisense 75” a7hau for about the same price. I assume this is a much better tv?

  • Would this be good with the Xbox Series X?

    • +3

Negative. No VRR support, can only do 60Hz refresh rate and no local dimming either

      • +3

Tempting to buy, but I think I'll hold off. My current TV is 60Hz so won't be much of an upgrade.

        • AU8000 is better suited to play games and it's on sale

          comment from rep :
Crystal UHD offers excellent picture quality and is a great option for those who want to watch 4K content. It is also an excellent choice for gamers, as it supports HDR gaming. QLED is an excellent choice for those who want the best picture quality

Rtings always have solid reviews for anyone contemplating, nice find OP.

Thanks for that, damn was hoping above 60HZ still a bargain

  • Does this work with Q-symphony using the q990b soundbar?

  • got charged but samsung site timed out. am i out of money now?

    • Same thing happened to me a while back, (completely different merchant) charge was pending for about a week and then vanished YMMV.

      • did you get the funds back?

        • Yes, cause it was pending technically they were never taken out in the first place

  • less with loyalty discount

and even less with member voucher

    • +2

2.8% cashback at Cashrewards as well

      • Same percentage at Shopback too. Just depends which one you prefer i guess.

        • I prefer the one that generally tracks better.

          • +1

@Daabido: Or take a chance on increased cashback later (highest 8% on CR in November). No guarantee before sold-out, though.

      • loyalty discount is 15%

member discount can't remember, used mine on a different model (got QN85A 55" for $1300)

I think member discount was similar, $769 for 55" Q60A

2021 Frame 65" was $1100 with member discount, that is 4k 120hz capable (HDMI 2.1)

        55" QN90A was $1500 with member discount

member discount was only on year 2021 models, obviously. Q700A soundbar was $415, solid deal methinks

    • How much is it with loyalty discount?

      • +1

        $769

  • cant help it, buy one 75' thanks ad.

  • +5

Got 15% discount from the customer representative over the chat ..happy days thanks OP

    • how?

      • +4

Jump on the Samsung chat and told them I would like to upgrade from an old Samsung tv to a new one and can they offer discount, the bloke in chat first said cannot offer anything but then offered 15% code and said to send an email to [email protected] with the serial no of the old TV and other contact details and he will verify and give a code , did the same as he said and he gave a 15% discount code via chat

        • I have a 10 year old 32", I wonder if they'd give me a discount on a new TV.

          • @Miss B: No harm in trying mate jump on the chat and give it a go , you never know , best of luck

            • +1

@Sunnyoz: I think I'll wait for 85" or bigger TVs to come down a bit. My mediocre 65" TV keeps me going for now.

        • so you sent in email the old tv serial, then open chat another day for them to confirm this?
and got the code via that second chat instead of by email?

          • @pinkybrain: No I actually send them a picture of my old tv with the serial no on it and the Samsung guy was online/chat and with me and it took him 5 minutes to verify the Details and after he verified he gave me the code in the same chat

Samsung rename an old technology triluminos from Sony 10 years ago and called it Quantum dot πŸ˜‚

  • +1

    Is this the 2021 tv

    • +1

Yes, the first post here was in April 2021. It has to go for the new 2023 model. No wonder the offer ends on 31 March coz new models probably will arrive in April according to the pattern.

  • Is the 75" previously $994 at good guys? Comes up in the search but OOS.

    • No, previous posts here.

It has some Tizen OS… So not Android and no access to play store apps….. ? Bummer..

    • Most if not all Samsung TVs are on Tizen OS these years?

      • +1

Not sure but very frustrating… LG's have WebOS, Samsung's have this Tizen. So not a lot left with Android.. Sony, TCL I think…

  • Is the deal still available?

  • +1

    i think it's gone

  • Looks like OOS :(

  • au8000 75” $1079/ 85” $1499 + any other discounts, but this is model is below q60 so not best price when compared

    • 917.49 for 75" with loyalty 15% off

still probably beats other budget 75 inchers

      • +2

Yeah compared to others it’s good, but probably worth waiting to see if the q60 comes back in-stock as price is only slightly more, these are 2021 models but priced right

        • agreed. I need something HDMI 2.1 Xbox Series X compatible, so chose 55" qn85a instead

    • What is the main difference between the two models?

      • depends on where you are coming from
If your current TV is some falcon from Big W or K mart than it will be night and day.
But if you only carry Vuitton bags to take the bus than you might want to go Dynamic OLED with NEO NEO

        • Sounds like you are comparing OLED vs QLED, but both models are QLED?

  • +1

    QLED vs OLED ?

    • +1

Completely different technologies. OLED is vastly superior. QLED is just an LCD screen.

  • +2

Honestly QLED is a scam. I'm sick of the constant brightness reduction every time there is a dark scene that you can't control makes it very unwatchable

    • For all QLEDs as well?

      • I don't know about the more expensive models but the q60 and q70 family of tv's are known for aggressive dimming, at least when watching dark scenes on Netflix

        • I've got a q90 and it does that for the credits when white on back.

  • Paid nearly $1,500 for this about a year ago so this is a terrific deal. Great TV, we're very happy with it.

  • most QLED are now going for peanuts.

  • how to get loyalty discount guys? Thank you!

    • Read my above comment mate

  • +1

    Thank you Sunny

  • How does this compare to TCL 75P735 series ? It's advertised about $900.

  • hi everyone, even AU8000 is on sale, i missed this deal is it worth going for that?
    75 inch is for 1,079.40
    Original Price:$1,799.00 Save $719.60

  • Im wondering any brand or model allows to install apk app manually ? This will save me from getting a tv box. The apk file is not available on google playstore.

  • Not the most favourable reviews for the Q60A on product review. Especially screen clouding issues in dark lit scenes or black screens but I take it it's nothing new with Qled's.

    • Those reviews totally put me off this model. I have an el-cheapo BigW "JVC" with the same issue, so there's no way I'm spending 3 times as much just to have the exact same issue!

  • Hey guys,

What are the chances of the TV's getting restocked?

    Cheers

  • Don't bother with Q60 or Q70 if you're planning to spend around $1k
