        Yes totally. We should all just take it and not even comment when the cost of things double in a short period of time.

        Thank you for putting me right. I feel better about $2199+ 4080's now. Seeing how I paid $1400 for my 3080 at the height of the crypto craze with world wide shortages and that was already the highest cost they'd ever been. So yes. You're totally right. Let's not even talk about it.

  Literally earlier in Feb/March people happily posting 'bargains' and purchasing $1700 and $2200 rtx3080 & 3080ti's which was already dated 2020 architecture selling for above retail… Dunno why many are mad/surprised bout the pricing? Nvidia aren't to blame tbh. Still good card I'd rather this than any of amds offerings..

    Exactly! Used 3080s are not going for 500 bucks… they are still going for close to a thousand dollars…

    Even a 3080 is so powerful that 99.9% of people will not need anything more for some time to come… the 4080 is pointless anyway when contrasted against the 3080, but then again you do get the DLSS 3.0 feature, which may turn out to be worrthwhile.

    The 4090 is for people who have A LOT of cash and have those crazy ass 165hz 4k set ups - not even gonna hate, because I love this stuff so much that if i had the cash, I'd get one of those.

      4090s is for people who
      1. Work in the mines and have too much money
      2. Earn more than $100K per year and like to blow money on overpriced gear
      3. Want to best what ever the cost
