1. Write your recipient's name and email (or mobile).

How does the app work:

If you don't log in to the system for your chosen period of time, we'll contact you via emails and mobile notifications. If you do not respond to it for the number of times you've set, we will manually enquire about your well-being with you and your emergency contacts. Only then will we send your messages to your recipients.

    I set up the free Dead Man Tracker app to send message + location (I travel) if I don't respond to messages they send to app. (Testing it out, before setting to send any real messages to friends! Have forgotten to respond, but had the recipient set to my email…)

    There are other ways.

    This service uses a similar approach to determine if you are dead… You need to regularly log in, if you don't - they send you a message, if no response - they contact your emergency contact, then finally sending out your messages. Nothing could possibly go wrong😉

    I have personal messages & request for what is to happen upon my death - stored with my Will. (Only the Will is binding & it's directions might even be ignored.)

    I've been executor of a few Deceased Estates, counseled people who were dying, plus organised & officiated at funerals.

    Leaving money for a bloody good party (wake) is a nice way to say goodbye in my experience. People exchange stories about the deceased. Hopefully remembering them fondly. A good time to distribute those messages to help mourners move on.
    Far more personal than the service offered by this business!

    Personal messages are the least important of the matters when someone dies, & need to be regularly updated.
    Better to share with people what is important before you die!

    We use military-grade encryption on your messages & recipient details. The only thing our customer service can see is your name and email address and it would be the same for the hackers (should they succeed in stealing our database). We're also working on a special end-to-end encryption technique, which would make it computationally impossible to crack open your messages.

    Our ability to run the business in a lean model and the implementation of annual pricing plans instead of one-off payments should help us sustain the business for a very long time. If something happens to the current executives, Safecret messages (along with Wills and legal paperwork) should take care of handing down the infrastructure, keys, etc. to the appointed successors.

    Some people may value personal messages more than others and as much as Safecret is for your loved ones, it's also for you - so your views matter equally. We have a customer who, unfortunately, lost her father at a young age and she told us that she wishes her father had left some messages for her.
