BLACKFRIDAY22

Hi Ozbarginers!

My team and I have been working seriously hard over the past 6+ months to design a new RSP that offers high speed connectivity at super competitive pricing. Our focus was to build a product that doesn't offer a promotional price only for the first 6 months of being a subscriber, but for the entire time you're with us!

In true spirit of going fast I'm pleased to offer our very first gigabit deal. Get nbn 1000Mbps on HFC and FTTP for only $119.90 per month! We're running this offer for 7 days only

Simply use the promo code BLACKFRIDAY22 at checkout and we will honour the discount.

Thanks for your support! Please feel free to PM me or chat with the team on our website for any questions.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2022

        • Still waiting for our membership to be approved. We're nothing to do with Vocus.

  • Hi, will you have any deals on the 100 plan this week or next week?

    • Yes, we do intend to release an offer on the 100/40 plan.

      • what pricing

        • At this stage we're looking at $84.90 ongoing.

  • Will your CVC graphs be made public like ABB, Superloop etc?

    • Yep 100% we are building CVC graphing pages at the moment.

    • what are the equivalent prices for this speed going for these days

  • naughty nathan/(jake?) back at it again scamming people

  • +1

    Stay away….
    Epic Jake.
Website built with bubble. Dead giveaway.
    This is a fail.

    • The hypernet https://hypernet.com.au/ website using the zoom reviews is hilarious. Didn't even go to the effort of creating a Critical Information Summary or Key Facts Sheet.

      • Now it won't load.

        Error 1000
        DNS points to prohibited IP

        What happened?
You've requested a page on a website (hypernet.com.au) that is on the Cloudflare network. Unfortunately, it is resolving to an IP address that is creating a conflict within Cloudflare's system.

        What can I do?
If you are the owner of this website:
you should login to Cloudflare and change the DNS A records for hypernet.com.au to resolve to a different IP address.

        • This is a Zoom Broadband offer page, not sure why Hypernet has any relevance here?

      • Hypernet is our higher performance sister business. It's not selling services publically at this time. Zoom is our focus.

  • Signed up last night churned today.
Speed is not up around a gig, less than half that. But will dick around with pppoe settings and see if we can get a perf boost.
Better than what I was on and ten bux cheaper
Sad to leave ABB, if the performance drops I will jump back.

    • Hey, you should definetely be able to get max speed on your line. It also depends on what tech you are on. If it's HFC then theres always issues there, we were contemplating even offering gig over HFC for a while as it's really not obtainable. If you're on FTTP make sure you're testing from a device plugged directly into the router, and test to GSL in the state you live. You'll notice you can get max speeds.

We're not throttling anything at all, and we dont have any congestion whatsoever.

      • Nah just HFC, that being said ABB were able to get close, will keep ya posted.

        • Will be keen to investigate further if you want to look into it, just shoot us an email with details and we can dive further in. There shouldnt be any limitations but.

  • Epic Broadband shill

    • We have nothing to do with Epic Broadband.

  • Signed up and speed is consistently testing 700-800mbps+ DL and 30-40mbps UL (this will obviously vary based on your area but this is performing well enough for me). Will keep an eye on how it goes, easy to switch if it deteriorates.

    • Awesome! We dont intend for it to deteriorate.

  • Do you have a looking glass to show off some of this high speed connectivity that you have spent the 6+ months designing?

  • Just signed up, sign process was a bit annoying. Had to speak to chat to keep asking on connectivity but was connected in two hours.

On Ethernet getting 800 and 40 up. Wifi around 500-600. I have FTTP.

If there is anything further I can do to boost Wifi speeds, would appreciate insights. However so far so good.

    • Wifi speeds are up to your own router and adapters. You either need to buy stronger ones or reduce the distance or amount of walls between your adapter and router.

  • is the modem you supply any good?

    • +1

It's pretty good we would consider but at the end of the day the best way to get optimal coverage is to do wifi access points across the property hard wired back to a router. Wireless is always going to be patchy and give sub-optimal coverage.

      • I’m new to nbn. My area has nbn hfc. Can I get this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/738414#comment-13010675 to connect to nbn to my computer? Apologies not tech savvy.

        • +1

NBN will supply you with a 'NBN modem', which will give you internets. The router you linked can then attach to the NBN router, which may improve your speed and/or signal.

  • I signed up this morning and still without a connection

    • Hi Tom, we've had some problems with our automatic provisioning at our upstream carrier. They have resovled the issue now and orders are starting to provision.

      Regards,

      Shane.

  • @zoombroadband when does the CYBERMONDAY250 code or similar go live?

    • Hi Mechz,

We're planning to release a new promo for 100/40 and 250/25 products later thisevening. Please keep an eye out.

      Shane.
