195cm Monterey Green Fibre optic Christmas Tree $49 save $50

The real savings begins on Boxing Day
Leave it in your garage until next year. :D

s21fe @$599 seems pretty cheap. (down from $999)

    • +5

Same price at JB Hi-Fi this week. The Galaxy S21 for $592.80 earlier this year was even better.

      • Its a bit co-incidental - it sounds a bit like Samsung will doing this special & possibly appear in more stores too.

        • Yep, looks like most retailers will sell at this price (even Samsung direct)

  • +2

Wish PS4 DS controllers would go back to $49 again. Need to buy two. :'-(

    • +1

Should be that price this week with Amazon black friday. That's what I paid for mine this time last year. Give it a few days I think.

      • I hope you're right! I checked OzB history and can't find any DualShock 4 deals for BF 2021. :'-(

fingers crossed they go on sale on Friday!

  • *Dyson V7 Origin Cordless Vacuum $399 save $200 (Online Only)

Pity - they had the V8 at this price just recently. I snooze. I lose.

  • anyone can share your findings from this magazine? I personally failed to find anything worth buying… Thanks

  • Any chance Westfield gift cards (aka eftpos cards) work on the big W site?

    • +1

If its the eftpos card, no instore only. If its the visa variant, its basically a prepaid credit card and can be used anywhere

  • JB currently have the Dyson V8 for $476.
    Worth the extra?

nothing exciting or big discount item…. wouldn't be able to find same discount any other month of the year ?

Australia making joke of Blackfriday …. they think it is another easter or christmas or end of year or financial close sale :)

      Greedy?
A small country that no one cares?

      • +2

Well not sure about greed but in America where this Black friday sale started the discount are massive and real not what we see here in my opinion
        ..!

Sure we may see more offers closer to the date

        • +2

Not sure why you’re being negged when this is accurate. In the US, Black Friday (at least when I lived there) was huge. People slept outside of the store making the line because that’s how insane the discounts were and even online you could find some really good deals. Hell even the first couple of Australian Black Friday sale days I remember had huge discounts. Whereas the ones the last two years here have been pretty meh.

    • +1

Black Friday is American and signifies the Friday after Thanksgiving. It's being thankful for whatever we have. Immediately after that, it's a rush of consumerism and overconsumption.

What Australian companies have done is extend Black Friday to be 2 weeks, and they've done this because consumers wanted more time to shop the sale. Obviously, you can't expect the same discount applicable for 1 day as 2 weeks. The name carries a lot of psychological marketing because of how popular it is in the US the average consumer will be pressed to buy something that's maybe the same or very similar price a few months ago.

You'll probably find better luck with Amazon tbh.

      • +1

Well most retail sales in Australia run by pumping price by 40% and give back 22% discount… LoL

In US I have seen massive real discount on black friday… But here it's more like another sale nothing special..!

Not sure if we can buy things from American Amazon and get it delivered free this black friday:) has anyone done it before?

        • You can definitely get some things delivered from Amazon US free (assuming you have Prime and spend $49) although not everything. Can't find the deal that was posted explaining it but it's there somewhere.

  • Is that a good price on the Lenovo Pad M10? I know it's superseded by the 3rd gen, but it's just to replace my mom's 5-yr old Galaxy A10. Amazon has it for $229, and the lowest I see on C³ is $197.

    • +1

There are a lot of different specs under the M10 heading, and this looks to be the bottom rung. Low built in memory (RAM and storage), and probably the lower resolution screen.

Personally I'd look for 6GB RAM, 128GB Storage and 2000x1200 screen version at a decent price, or even wait to see if Google do something worthwhile with their reentrance to the tablet game (though they will probably overprice). However, if its a Xmas pressie …

  • Is this finally an Xbox Series console below RRP?

    • +1

Been under RRP for quite some time. Was $398 in June. Note this is a digital only console with around ~430GB of usable storage.

  • Anyone got feedback on those 6V kids cars? I assume the 12V versions are better, but are they pretty small cars?

  • +1

Does anyone have any thoughts on the Roomba 670? Cheers

    • Was wondering the same, think we are just about ready to venture into the robot vacuum world..

  • Is JB HiFi's Early Black Friday deals out? I am keen to find out what their deals are….Pls share if there are other good phone deals from JB. Thanks

  • FIFA 23 going to be $49 at JB Hifi

  • FYI tablet is showing $169 now.

    • What did it change from?

  • Fifa 23 NS,$29
