How to get 10 % off on GC? Getting behind the game :'(
Didn't know about this. Only got 2.5% cashback from shop back for pixel 6a.
I just can’t see why you would need a 1TB. Especially with icloud storage. I reckon 256gb is fine. Or even 512gb
1TB is for people that plan to use the device for serious video recording using ProRes.
If you're not doing that, then 256Gb is fine.
If they are serious, they just will not use a phone for video recording.
Plenty of reasons. Mine has less than 300GB free (less actually since this screenshot).

having 300gb free is not a reason.
probably just full of junk
Or 4K porn
@easternculture: Here we say linux distro
Definitely full of junk
Some audiophiles uses the iPhone as an audio transport to store super hi-res music locally on the phone. They pair the phone with a mobile/portable audio setup.
Thats for Instagram/tiktok content creator using iphones
Not everyone wants to use cloud storage. Though agree 1TB is a lot.
Iphone 14 release date : 08 Sep
Announcement ***
Reminded that the new one event is on in a little over a week and rumours are the Pro gets a nice lot of improvements.
expected price difference? guesstimate.
i do agree btw…just curious. I think sentiment is if you're thinking pro then wait… if just the regular 13 probably take opportunity of good prices?
The fact that they're cutting price on 13s across the board right now makes me think that the 14 will be the same price again. Otherwise they could just leave the price the same and let the new model costing more make the difference.
Anything I say though is purely a guess and reading macrumours. It could be the regular 14 has some nice improvements outside of the SoC, seems the camera is the focus (pun not intended) this time around.
Always a game of bigger discounts as stock diminishes though. I got a 12 Mini for 20% off + giftcards a month before the 13 released, but sales of that one were terrible. Question is whether there's tonnes of 13 stock floating around or if Apple is still supply constrained.
Rumours I read, say Pro / Max supposed to be US$100 more expensive as removing screen notch and have new cameras.
Standard 14 not much change from 13, so likely same price
I thought rumours suggested ‘meh’ level improvements…
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a day 1 buy for me either way lmfao
"maybe pm at jb-hifi"
lol, jb don't price match amazon, EVER.
Just use the search, there are many ppl doing this
Nah it’s a ymmv - depends on branch
they do, you just gotta find the right person who would be willing and understand what sold and shipped by Amazon AU means (a lot of people don't really understand Amazon's marketplace model) - although for a higher value item like this, might be more difficult
Stock up for Christmas.
$2200 buys a nice tv and $49 e7 woolies special
I tried to price match the pro Max 256gb model yesterday with JB. They were were happy to do it but said they had no stock of any iPhone 13 models and were not expecting to have it until 13 October. So you can still order but there's a long wait.
Ah yes iPhone a phone that provides inconvenience but also requires you to pay for convenience through accessories and apps which should be free. In before "BuT itS gOt BetTer insta PhOtos so I can post my brekky oats and berries in the morning with a motivational quote under it"
Could you elaborate?
What accessories do you need? Surely it's just a case, screen protector, and maybe a wireless charger? Same as an android device.
Same with apps… Having an iPad and Android phone, there are free options available for both. If I was to completely switch ecosystem, I think I'd be repurchasing a trip planner app and that's about it.
Vodafone via Apple store has $650 off iPhone 13 price if you join 24 months plan $59 per month.
Only available from Apple store though, not from Voda directly. No idea why any gronk still buys Crapple products
Life must be hard for you with Apple having such a large market share in Australia.
Cost of 1TB vs Cloud backup subscription???
