  • Booo, bring back $1700 off and $300 voucher for $99 plan

      Will you survive ⁉️

Because they don't want people like you to buy. Simple.

Harvey Norman S25 512GB for $0 on $69 plan is better IMO

    • +2

This is month to month though, so you can just cancel it straight away and take the $500 savings. (Might need to pay the first $50)

  • what does my head in with these deals, is they're new/port in only.

I mean, I'm out of contract, but with JB hifi, why punish me? Why not let me sign up for 2 years and take advantage of the offer?

    • it's a month-to-month plan. Just sign up with a new service then cancel it and plug your old sim in.

Signed up, confirmed as a $500 gift card credit towards the new phone with a new number.

Chuck in the coles 10% gift card deal and the S25 can be bought for 857.30 with one month's service.

Just want to add that this also stacks with the preorder code so a S25 can be had for 688.10 with one month's service included, no break of contract required.

      • hey can you give me more info on how a coles gift card makes this cheaper? trying to get the lowest price possible :) also where can we get the preorder code ?

Just be prepared that coles is 5 gcs per sale max and denominations are $50 at most per card.

I bought 12 cards by using 3 different credit/debit cards.

Its not a big deal rocking up with a stack to the register, just a bunch of swiping and pin entering on our end, just try to do it during an off peak time so the staff don't roll their eyes at you.

To be nice, pre-scratch off the cards before you get to the register.

          • @Lenzman: thanks so much!, so i'd have to buy the tcn party or tcn kids gift cards based on your link

          • @Lenzman: what was the final price you paid? 857.30 or 688.10?

  • Does $200 code only for ultra or all S25 range ?

  • I don't understand…how is this deal a better deal than this or this or this?

    • no credit check necessary, no hassle of porting in and out with new sim but i agree its more expensive

      • Yeah I thought so. I'd much rather save hundreds of dollars by going with one of the other deals.

    • Those are all 24 month lock-in deals that have you paying $79/month or $99/month.If your usual plan costs $30/month then you are paying at least $1176 for the phone on top of whatever the "phone" price is. Many people don't need the inclusions in such expensive plans.

      • You missed the point of those other deals. No one is retaining the plan for 24 months. Just pay the max ETC and you have the phone outright for less money than this "deal".

    • It works for me as i had a lot of JB gcs stacked up already and I heard a rumour a break of contract may ding your credit score (the guy at JB couldnt confirm or deny it) so wasnt worth the risk.

I bought the S25+ so overall I paid about $900, which is a few dollars more than the $99 plan would have cost me.

If people want to take the risk then the options you have provided would be cheaper, yes.
