Terms and conditions
• The offer entitles the first 26,000 Amazon Australia Prime customers who have an active Prime membership on the Amazon Australia Store (“Eligible Customer”) to receive one $10 amazon.com.au gift card when they, in a single order, spend $49 or more on eligible items on amazon.com.au using a Mastercard card issued in Australia.
• Any non-Australian issued Mastercard cards or any non-Mastercard cards will not qualify for this offer.
• For the purpose of these terms and conditions "eligible items" refers to any item purchased on Amazon.com.au (via desktop, mobile browser or the Amazon Shopping App) but excludes digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Prime video and audible, gift wrapping and postage or delivery rates.
• Amazon's standard delivery rates and policies apply to any purchase made pursuant to the offer.
• To redeem the offer, once an Eligible Customer has added $49 or more of eligible items to their cart and finalized their purchase at checkout, the Amazon.com.au Gift Card will automatically be added to your account within 60 days after the promotion ends. • All Amazon.com.au Gift Cards are subject to the Amazon.com.au Giftcard Terms & Conditions and Amazon.com.au Gift Card restrictions.
• The offer can only be redeemed once per Eligible Customer.
• If Amazon considers a customer to be operating multiple accounts, those accounts will, for the purposes of this offer, be treated as one customer.
• If you return any item purchased under the offer, such that your order would not have met the offer terms, the offer will not apply.
• If you violate any terms and conditions of the offer, the offer will be invalid.

      1. What is the offer?
The first 26,000 Eligible Customers who, between 26th and 29th November 2021, spend $49 or more on eligible items in a single transaction on Amazon.com.au using an Australian issued Mastercard card, will receive a $10 Amazon.com.au Gift Card, automatically credited to their account within 60 days of the end of the promotional period, for use on a future purchase.

      26th. Started 31 minutes ago.

      • Let's hope they count it from EST and not WSt otherwise I'm 2.5hrs early hahha

      • +1

The 60 days wait has me :S

      • Bummer. I realised I actually used some gift card credit anyway, so only actually put $34 on the Mastercard.

        • +1

You can amend payment methods to remove gift cards on desktop version on Amazon website

          • @Lucille Bluth: Hmmmm, I ordered 12 hours ago. They won't charge until it ships, so I wonder if it will work if I change the payment method now to remove the gift card credit.

            I guess we'll find out :)

Edit: I can't change payment method, probably for the same reason I can't cancel the order.

It says it's not being delivered until Tuesday, so not sure why it won't let me cancel or change anything

            • @chromium: It is probably now too late in the shipping stage to make further changes.

    • Yea Last year Prime Day I found it hard way, that One must not cancel the order before reordering the famous popular item again (otherwise goes OOS pretty soon)

  • Perfect excuse to get that PS5 controller for $79, now essentially $69!

    • nice

  • can you use a $10 promo + $39 to buy a physical gc?

    • Pretty sure promos won't work on any gift cards.

  • Would the $53.30 PS+ membership qualify for this cashback?

Doesn't seem to start till midnight! From the FAQ beneath the T&Cs:

"The first 26,000 Eligible Customers who, between 26th and 29th November 2021…"

    • i think it's 26th now. AEDT

    • Nope, definitely started 12am AEDT today. Today is already the 26th.

    • Cheers. Just ordered a $75 giftcard using GIFTCARDBFCM coupon.

      • +1

If that 10000 is still on. I think this 26000 will last longer.

      • +1

just talked to their CS, told me i will only get the $5 promo as it was applied to it, and the mastercard $10 will not work.

        "kanugula | Customer service
I can confirm the promotion was applied on order, it may show an error but the promotion was applied and within 8 business days you will receive confirmation email with $5 promo credit details "

Only one promotion can be applied for one order
As you have used GIFTCARDBFCM promo code which is for $5 promotion credit on purchasing $75 Gift card, you are not eligible for the other $10 offer on this order

  • Does Prepaid mastercard counts like the Coles Prepaid Mastercard?

    • That's what I want to know too, those coles and australia post prepaid mastercards, are they eligible ?

  • I am prime member. Where is the link of this deal? I dont see it in my amazon. Is it targeted?

  • +1

Sweet, more black friday deals. Gift card in Santa tin on the way!

  • Couldn't find anything I needed to get, so I grabbed a physical gift card lol

Worst case scenario I can somehow repurpose the tin!

  • +5

Took the punt & bought a $50 physical GC

What items are eligible for the $49 threshold offer spend?
Eligible items refers to any item purchased on Amazon.com.au (via desktop, mobile browser or the Amazon Shopping App) but excludes digital purchases such as e-books, subscriptions such as Prime video and audible, gift wrapping and postage or delivery rates.

  • Does it work for US imports?

  • +1

purchased $50 Welcome Baby Gift Box, but how to know I am eligible prime customer.
I have to wait 60 days?

    • Looks like email notification in 7 days

    • +1

    • +5

Cool, cant believe they are free. Other stores charge $5 or so for a box!

    • Fingers crossed :)
Got the cupcake one though as I'm sure my daughter will use that for something.

  • +2

My wallet is starting to hurt now :(
And we still have Cyber Monday !!

  • +1

Bought a $49 physical gift card (Santa Smile Tin) :)
The tin may actually come in handy for storing things like all of my Coles Gift Mastercards haha.

    • if you are storing them, you are loosing them…

    • Good idea, I may use them to keep all my GC.

  • Just purchased the Welcome Baby Gift Box too. Was thinking to buy Catan but it was 48.99, lol.

Now wait to see if will get voucher or not.

  • Ordered Santa Tin, will make for a nice Christmas Present, a gift card from Santa in a Santa Tin

  • Note: This deal equals "cut off $10 when you spend $59"

  • +1

Likewise got the Santa tin Amazon gift card. Great deal.

  • +2

bought a physical gift card. FOMO

  • +1

    bought a physical gift card
    hope it's eligible

  • Yes I know customer service says physical gift cards are eligible but

When you click through the link (on the app at least) the top let's you "search in Mastercard offer for prime" with Amazon gift cards not coming up in results.

My guess is you'll need to contact CS to get it later.

    (I bought a physical GC)

    • +1

I thought that was a great point, but that search box doesn’t seem to work

I just searched Santa and it said no results under that offer

Unless the grinch is running this promo I hope we’re good

  • Hope there is no link to activate this deal before purchase?

    • Doesn't look like it

  • +1

Have ordered a $50 physical gift card. Thanks OP!

    • Same :-)

    • the Prepaid one?

  • Fingers crossed

  • Bought $75 physical gift card and applied code from Get $5 Promo Credit with Purchase of $75 Amazon Gift Card @ Amazon AU

    Thanks OP!

  • Bought $49 physical gc. Will arrive tomorrow.

    • 😂

    • You mean $50? Is the physical card available for $49 denomination?

      • You can choose custom denomination

  • +1

Any idea whether this will work for subscribe and save purchases? Can't seem to find it written as an exclusion.

    • I was wondering the same thing last night. I've done the order around 1am anyway, so see how we go. Every item in my cart was S&S and came to like $65.

      • I tried to do the same but couldnt figure out how to 'set up' more than one S&S at a time. Is there a way to do this?

        • +1

You add them to cart regularly without clicking S&S and then in the cart you can tick the box on each item for S&S and how long. I don't know if it's a new feature but if it isn't; I only learnt of it myself last month.

  • Is there any way to pay for Prime membership renewal with gift card?

  • +2

i reckon the eGift Card should be eligible. it's not recognised as "Digital purchase" as i got refund from previous amex refund deal.

  • +2

Can this work with the Afterpay card?

  • Its not valid for gift card purchase. Confirmed with Amazon customer service for both digital and physical gift card (via chat) just now before doing the purchase. Their reply is "Unfortunately this promotion is not valid for gift cards and only for retail items.I would suggest you to place an order for retail items to take advantage of this offer."

    • +1

Got a different response from Amazon customer service agent. Was told physical gift cards are eligible as long as I don’t use any other promo codes. Took a screenshot of conversation so should be able to contact them again if I don’t end up getting it.

      • +1

        Can you share your screenshot?
        I've purchased a $50 physical Giftcard.
        Thanks!

      • I was just told by an agent that i'm eligible for both promos (I bought a $75 physical GC)

        • Did you take a screenshot? Would you mind sharing it here as I also bought $75 physical GC.

          • @CodeXD: Yeah I did - No problem, how can i send it to you ?

            • @Skejo: Hi, I've just done the same. Could you also share with me the screenshot ? You can click on my ID and use private message. Thanks heaps!

              • @hsct: Sorry Guys i'm hopeless at this - i can only start a conversation with you , i cant private message ?

                • @Skejo: Got it! Thanks very much. Appreciate it !

                  • @hsct: @skejo are you able to share to me as well? Thanks

            • @Skejo: Are you able to share it with me as well. I have messaged you.

              Thanks

            • @Skejo: Take a screenshot, and then upload it to imgur ( https://imgur.com/ ). Then paste the link here for everyone to use.

If, for whatever reason you can't do that - I would appreciate a private message as well. Thanks!

    • Yes, and another Amazon rep responded that it is. Nothing in the terms and conditions states physical gift cards are excluded.

      • confirmed it by asking 3 times in chat for both digital and physical cards.Amazon rep said its not eligible. Anyway, I am not going to take risk and will buy other items and also will get some cash back on those products :-)

        • Response from Amazon Rep: Yes
          It will work
          But for physical card only
          excludes digital purchases .

          I took screenshot
