Not even close to last Decembers awesome price, but hey.
$25.95/TB, so not as good as the current 18TB deal, but if you don't need/want that size.

I don't think so as it's the UK model. No harm in trying though.
No this is Amazon UK. Can't hurt to try but most employees are pretty clued on.
I want the 12tb to go on sale!
The 12 is only just over $1/Tb more than the 14Tb but they could all come down more on friday
I'm hoping one of the cashback providers do some sort of blanket discount. The discounts as they stand aren't bad honestly especially compared to peak chia prices but they aren't that much cheaper than the prices leading into BF. ~$23/TB would be nice. 18TB is a lot to lose in one go though. Unless the 10-14TB ones go down a lot more I'm probably just going to try to get one massive external and one smaller internal one. I'd try to keep total spend to around $750.
is it shuckable?
It is but you may need to do the tape trick or use a molex to sata power adaptor to use this with your PSU (if it isn't a more modern one that adheres to the newer 3.3v ATX spec): https://www.reddit.com/r/DataHoarder/comments/890juk/33v_pin…
Thanks
Yep, but no issue on any of the major NAS Vendors over the last few years - Synology, QNAP, Asustor etc.
make sure to test the drive before shucking.
Thanks
I have 3 of the previous Dec deal running in a unraid no issues yet
I got 5 units last time and ran them for a year on a lsi9260 controller without issue. Recently moved them to md raid on a new z590 motherboard as its just as good as the controller.
hdparm says the drives inside the enclosure are white WDC WD140EDFZ
Timing buffered disk reads: 630 MB in 3.01 seconds = 209.35 MB/sec
Even though they were all the same model I had to use kapton tape on the power pins on one of drives….who knows. If you do need to block the power pin so it spins up maybe don't use a molex adapter as some cheapo ones have been known to catch fire.

Already have two on the way from the last drop, but still need some more. Waiting for actual BF pricing which should go into the $350's and maybe $340's.
This is marked as BF Deal by Amazon
Still likely to continue dropping due to FX improvements against GBP. We also could have the US store dropping the price as the 14TB's have been super well priced at Best Buy in recent weeks.
I would hold off now if you can wait.
$325.18 - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/667539
@snuke: Yeah, there it is. Not going to be snarky about it, go buy it up!
@Monsta-AU: I didn't buy from my post as I agreed with you, knowing full well there is a US or Aus supply that could be a better price. I just got two from this US deal.
@snuke: It's best all-time price, good time to buy. Just going to take a while to get here. I have a DS1621+ to fill :)
@Monsta-AU: No, the best was last Dec, for $300, I only got one then.
@snuke: Maybe my Camels was only showing limited time period.
@Monsta-AU: I was wrong it was last Oct - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/572428
@snuke: My Camels is only showing $314.49 on the UK version - B07Y3KDVZH.
US version of B07YD3G568 is all-time lows.
Other offers could have been (and very likely) under different codes.
The question is will they drop in price again on friday? Hmmm…
Don't forget Cyber Monday
Do these come with AU power plug, few of the reviews suggested not.
No, UK plug.
Would officetwerks price match?
