Or you could buy some real chicken. Drumsticks are cheap!

Or you could buy some carrots. Even cheaper

You could eat crickets, they are free

        • Ha! While hunting deals, a true Ozbargainer is able to sustain themselves solely on the energy of the universe.

Personally I find these a little one the gross side as they’re rolled chicken mince… the Ingham ones are actual meat

    • +6

      these are also Inghams

    • +1

I find the big brands boxed kievs tend to be more dry and have less sauce than the Woolies ones. At half price, it's a no brainer for me which to choose.

    • These are made by Inghams, just packaged for Woolies, Coles and Aldi.

  • +1

These are so disappointing.. inside is just garlic flavoured mush lol

  • Wtf @ the ingredients list

    • ?

      • +3

Probably the processed meat 55%, as well as the 20 other ingredients (many of which are numbers) for what should really just be
        Chicken
        Breadcrumbs
        Garlic
        Butter
        Some green herb

Personal preference but these don’t taste like a quality product.

        • And possibly crustacea….!

        • Yeah because breadcrumbs is a base ingredient?

    Loaded Nuggets

  • Tried these they werent great most of them leaked everywhere.
    The texture wasn't great.

  • +2

These seem to have been getting worse overtime.

    • That would imply they were at some point good

      • Or just went from bad to even more bad

  • So how would one cook these?
    Deep fry?
    Shallow fry?
    Oven baked?

    • +2

      Air fryer.

      • +1

+1. Takes 10 minutes in the air fryer. Any other way is too much effort and dangerously close to actual cooking.

    • +1

30 minutes in the oven at 180c - heat the oven up first, which will probably take 5-10 minutes.

    • Just refers to prawns, shrimp, crab, lobster. Nothing out of the ordinary. Just as a warning for potential cross-contamination, as they probably process seafood products too where they make these things.

    • +1

      May contain traces of Chicken

  • They come packed in bags of 9 out of the box ($11.70) if you want to save yourself and the attendant some time.

10 mins @ 180C in the air fryer with a side of fries for some quick fast food.

    • some quick fast food

Slow fast food is the worst

      • If I'm going to eat crap, I don't want to have to wait as well!

  • These seem to be getting a lot of hate but I bought some yesterday and enjoyed them with a nice side of veggies.

  • Kievs are all made of minced chicken? Can't get actual unprocessed chicken Kiev?

    • +1

You can if you head to a butchers and pay for them.
