          I had the Sumatra beans before. They were hard to dial in. You pay nearly 3 times more for a coffee that is not more satisfying than the Aldi Dark blend.

            @Thrifty Dan: I love thr Sumatra beans and comparing these guys to a Aldi beans… Everyone has different taste and standards. For me, I would highly recommend these beans as its so much better than others

            @Thrifty Dan: Completely disagree. Aldi dark beans are cheap crap, hence the price. Even the coffee machine hates them. Difficult to extract. Sumatra is superb.

              @ForkSnorter: I'm not sure which coffee machine you have; maybe it's a budget model? Currently, I own a Breville Barista Touch Impress. There's nothing wrong with the Aldi coffee.

                  @ForkSnorter: That's reasonable. I've never had issues with Aldi beans. Occasionally, I purchase different beans to experiment with. I'm not sure why I had difficulty extracting the Sumatra beans, and they also seemed a bit overcooked for my taste.

    Dan, have been consistently enjoying AirJo coffee over the past few years though what would really help set it apart and elevate customer service and experience would be to allow delayed shipping and more options to customise shipping (within reasonable limits, of course) to suit customers’ needs. I really hope you take this feedback and would consider implementing a system similar to Lime Blue Coffee (another OzB coffee roaster favourite) which also has a responsive customer service rep and an equally fantastic shipping experience.

    First time customer. Was literally looking for coffee beans but the stores closed. Ordered the Colombian. Hope it’s good stuff compared to the aldi coffee beans. Using my recently bought Breville touch and loving the quality, but it needs fresh beans.
