Not bad if you call a lot..but the phone :-/ It'll be better if they let you choose whatever phone you want
The phone is more like what you get on a $19 Cap because $29 cap you can get sensation xl which you can sell on ebay for almost 2 times as much
how about Bruges?
'Maybe that's what hell is, the entire rest of eternity spent in [flapping] Bruges'.
So just because you score only 50% you're not impressed?
- 1 for making me lol, even though you didn't need to be an ass
this bold 9700?? for 29 a month.. thats not a very good deal..
its an old blackberry..
I have a bold 9700 that is nearly 16 months into a 24 month contract @$29 a month, so the same offer at this point in time is pretty average.
9700 is so two thousand and ten.
Late 2009… This is a really good deal in late 2009, but not 2012.
bad deal, doesn't even support 850Mhz Network, no wonder Vodafone are trying to get rid of them for cheap.
VF, Never Again. Ever.
MISLED features.. 8.0 MP camera???? for blackberry 9700??? it only has 3.2 MP.. Cant believe the false ad.
no Vodafone, no blackberry
They had it back in November the very same deal except for 12 only months. So this is not a great deal at all.
Yes. I signed that time as well. 29 per month for 49 usage 12 month
Just note that you SHOULD upgrade your contract after the 12 mth ends or you'll just go back to $49, the $20 credit doesn't go past 12 mths.
I remember going on a super cheap blackberry plan many years back with 3.. Crap phone but I was paying $39 a mth for a $79 cap..24mth plan and on the 25th mth they were gonna charge me $79 again. So yeh.
You really need to be aware that there's $10 a month on top of the plan price for BIS. It's a bit misleading, I feel, for any company to advertise them without BIS included in the price given that the phone won't really operate without it.
Please get your info right. BIS is included as part of the $49 cap. It's an option anyone can get on…I've done it with mine when I went onto a BB and went off it when I went back to iPhone. You can change once a month and you just need to call them. None of this extra $10 that you speak of.
Webtherapist, given that you seem to have taken out a contract on this, you should really, really be taking a screen capture of that page. As tjhia says, the camera in this is definitely well below the 8mp they have stated.
Isn't this already mentioned on this page here?
http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/65836They had the same plan last oct for 9780 so 9700 is def not a good deal
It isn't bad if you don't care about phones(or want to upgrade to $49 plan, or got a <$49 plan recently) and calls a lot.
You will get BlackBerry Bold 9700 from vodafone and sell it in eaby for $250, a $49 plan to use, while you are paying only $29 a month.$49 plan: 49x24=1176, HTC Sensation XL about $550(ebay) with 2 months free, $1176-550-98=$528 for a $49 plan over 24 months
This one: $29x24=696, BlackBerry 9700 about $250(ebay), $696-250=$446 for a $49 plan over 24 months. Those who want to upgrade to $49 plan could get Sensation XL about $180 cheaper.
btw, for those who got a plan <$49 recently, it's obviously a good deal.
I've got the Sensation XE in a $29 plan three months ago, i won't care about the phones in $49 plan.
I will get more data and calls with $250 cheaper(by selling the 9700).and about 21 months later, I can still get the Christmas deal.
Blackberry, I've said this before many times already. No means no. The judge's told you too. It's not you, it's me. It's just…we don't work well together…let's make it clean and never get in touch with each other ever again, okay?
haters gonna hate
lol…. i cant think of any good in blackberry compare to any android smart phone or iphone…
i guess people use bb is only to get access to the free blackberry messanger….
well, absolutely a negative for BB, personally…

So you also get a BlackBerry Bold 9700 mobile as part of this then, not bad.
