  • Why am I seeing $299?

  • i think noslee is saying $271 price at MSY and officeworks will beat it by 5% which brings it down to $257.45 …

  • Yes, exactly what is being stated.
OW will price match against MSY (I've done it twice - no problems) -5% + Flybuys + nil surcharge for credit card + service x 7 days/week with extended trading hours + they're everywhere.

    [ :- { )

  • hmm.. I see.. but questionable post though.. I mean, should people post everything that OfficeWorks sells and tell them to price match the cheapest price available?

  • The RRP on this one is actually down to $349, not $429. It's the model with the weird face buttons and design (compared to other Canon cameras). Has anyone used this camera and knows if the weirdness is good/intuitive or horrible/ justifies the low price?

    • Not wide enough lens, only 35mm. Strange choice by canon, I guess they want people to pay premium for the nice 860IS.

      • Given the features are quite comparable between the 90is & 860is, however it is hard to justify the extra ~$100 premium given say Canon's flagship prosumer PowerShot G9 also feature the 35mm lens. But i had to agree with the buttons, it's like the Moto Razr : )
Also for a camera with a good 3" screen and such build quality (metal all-around) is hard to find at that price.

        • Pretty hard to argue with $100 premium on ozbargain :) but I still think it's worth every penny. Not fair to compare with G/A series, cause I can assure you that a lensmate+wide lens package is more than $100 :) The buttons alone enough to detract me and no live histogram sealed it. That said, at this price it's cheap.

  • Nice find!! I was going to wait till I got to Japan to get a new digicam but at this price it is cheaper to buy it here…

  • I rather FujiFilm brand, the "F" series are the low light, low noise kings

    Cheers
