          from the manual

Only use 2 batteries with the same capacity. For best performance use 3.0Ah
batteries and above. Always use 2 batteries with the same charge state with
          the mower.

you can use mix and match of different capacity, just its not recommended.

i use 2 different capacity batteries for the jet blower and it works fine.

          • @PissLUR: Thanks

          • @PissLUR: But is 4mah allowed on this drill or this drill only accept 1.5 mAh?

            • @htc: yes 4.0Ah battery is fine on this drill.

              • @PissLUR: I reread your previous comment, the mower uses 2 batteries, so not recommended mix and match, need to be the same capacity. Similar to using multiple AA batteries in other electrical appliances.

Simply put, the 18v PXC batteries work on any Ozito PXC tools

  • Managed to score one c&c in Bundaberg and noticed a couple more on the shelf today when I picked it up. Mustn't be too many ozbargain tragics in central QLD!

  • Funny encounter at artamon Sydney showed instock was going to click and collect I get there a non tool guy shows me there is 3 in stock … speak to the lady at tool section she's like we got 0…… I check the ozito drill section it's on the top top shelf last one must of been a click and collect… tldr being there in person beats click and collect ..

  • Anyone heard from Marsden Park store? Closed atm because it's in an affected LGA so may still be there?

  • Has anyone placed the order yesterday for delivery but the status is still in order taken? I placed the order at 9am yesterday but no communication so far. Thanks

    • Yeah, my postal is still order taken. My drive and collect was cancelled.

      • My order is still sitting in order taken. What about yours?

    • I ordered 3.30am when it was originally posted. Other than confirmation email I have received anything else. Don't think I'll bother ordering online again from bunnings

      • My order is still sitting in order taken. What about yours?

        • Finally received email yesterday it was ready to pick up. I ended up receiving what I ordered which was a relief. I noticed they had several cages and trolley full of items awaiting pick up. The store inside was probably the busiest I've seen it. I struggled to find parking. This was at the Ashfield NSW store.

They had one box on the shelf as of yesterday

  • Looks like 1 has made it to Gamtree so far

    Scalped @ $130

      Lol what a tosser

    • +2

message him and tell him where to go haha

    • +3

      Make a regular gumtree offer.
      "$50, cash? Can you deliver?"

      • I offered $50 earlier and got a message this morning 'sold $120'. Damn! Ad is no longer there and marked as sold now.

Gutted I missed this deal can't find one at a local bunnings. Drills rarely get discounted like this, and this is a brushless hammer one too. Might just pass by Bunnings and take my chances they have one in stock.

        • I picked one up C&C at Padstow. Someone had a stock list the other day and there was around 20 there. Worth a try calling.

        • Some got it delivered for $10 extra, so is this product unavailable nation wide?

  • What the difference between this one and the Ozito PXC 18V Brushless Drill Driver - Skin Only $59.98 ?

    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/624893

    • skin only

      doesn't come with 2x batteries + charger

      • Is the Drill exactly the same or are they different Drills ?

        • +1

Different, it's not a hammer drill.

  • Now we need a deal on the brushless impact skin alone is 99 =(

    • +1

They told me this deal was oos so gave me this instead
      https://www.bunnings.com.au/pxc-18v-brushless-drill-impact-d…
I happily took for the $75 I paid

      • That sounds like a better deal as it comes with a 4Ah battery
Which Bunnings Store was that ?

        • SA Mile End

          • @mushroomgod123: i also got this deal here

            • @tobia: Indeed, much better deal, wish it was offered in other stores.

            • @tobia: did you place order and they said it was OOS and gave you replacement. Wondering if i can walk into store and try and get the deal you got

      • Can someone explain how these batteries work? I take it all pxc use the same "size"
So does that mean the 4ah just lasts longer?
18V vs 36V, is it a skin thing or battery thing too?
Why do you need so many drill shaped tools? Can't 1 do it all with modes etc??

        • +3

From what i've seen, all the 36v items just take 2x18V batteries. (For Ozito anyway. Other brands have dedicated 36v batteries)

          There's 3 main differences

Drill/Driver - used for general drilling into wood and other such materials. Can also be used to drive screws for most general use.
Impact Driver - used for driving screws etc. through tougher materials - often used in construction.
Hammer Drill - used for drilling into masonry applications like brick and concrete.

For general around the home applications, if you have a brick home, i'd recommend you get a hammer drill if you are getting just one. It does all of the above applications in a pinch. Hammer drills are a bit heavier than the other two as a result.

      • +1

Wait so you got this driver and impact deal for 75?

Nice! Even without the deal, 149 is tempting. - On second thoughts, yea its not a hammer drill, so its quite similar in value

      • I tried to negotiate this with my local - they won't budge because the battery size is different

      • Hello do you mind uploading receipt. If it is bit much all good. Tha

  • Ordered 8am on the 22nd. Pick up email received 7am on the 24th. Hope for people still waiting

  • For the people getting offered alternatives; do they contact you or have you been chasing them up?

    • I think it's better to chase them else they'll just send you a cancellation email text and be done with it

  • Wow, ordered online C&C 3 hours after the deal was posted but got a text today saying OOS.

I should've just walked in like some of y'all said.

    • y'all

Um, this is OzBargain? We don't "y'all" here.

  • Pretty annoyed that I ordered delivery immediately and paid - got a cancellation call and didn't get my order. Wasnt offered a change over.

  • Status randomly changed to Processing & Packing?
Probably be cancelled shortly once they see no stock on the shelves lol

    • Ok wow just got pickup notification. Eastgardens Sydney

  • Managed to order one from Maddington late last night - and got the message this morning saying ready to pick up! success.

  • Just got a notification that my order is ready to collect at Maroochydore

  • Got a cancellation from Scoresby, VIC

  • Has just been there, Bunnings Reynella SA still got … I would say more than 20 if someone is still interested.

  • Placed 2 online orders. One for pick up from Padstow and one for delivery. Was pretty sure either one or both was gonna get cancelled. Looks like i'm gonna end up with 2 of these now.

    • Hey Anzee when did you place your online order, my closest Bunnings is Padstow placed an online order on Wednesday morning which now 2 days ago, I received the order confirmation at 8.28am that morning and haven't heard anything since

      • I placed my order on Wed morning about 6am and got email this morning saying its ready for collection. Your one should come through soon I assume?

  • +2

Just sold my 10mm drill driver with a charger and 1 battery from this deal all for $65. I now have upgrade to a much better drill plus 1 extra battery for 10$ cost. Nice

  • Great deal, already have the non hammer brushless drill and separate sds hammer drill otherwise I would have jumped on this!

  • had it delivered today via star track. cool!

  • Hi all, I'm looking to get a tool set for DIY projects around the home. Buying first set (specally with two batteries) would force me stick with that perticular brand for the futre purchases as well. When compared with the ALDI deals which one would be cheaper if you planning to get more tools in the future? (I'm new to the power tools market.)

    • +1

Ozito is great for DIY around the home, Aldi only sell tools during their "Special buys" so if you are stuck needing another tool, say sander, circular saw or whatever it is Ozito will most likely have one and you can just walk in to bunnings and get it. Same for warranty, if your tool breaks you can just walk in to bunnings and get it changed within the 5 years of warranty.

  • +1

Extremely poor customer service. My order was cancelled again. I called and was told there were five units available a minute before I put in the order. Now they told me it was out of stock

  • Stock still available in Orange NSW

  • Got one from Bunnings Melton East this afternoon

  • For anyone still chasing for one, there was plenty at chatswood (NSW) bunnings… at least they did last night

    • how did u order? no stock online

      • I ordered online (when the deal was first posted), but maybe you can just try to scan it in store?? not sure..

  • Order canceled despite placed in the early morning. Bunnings’ stock management is really poor. To score those deals it’s probably best to walk in and buy yourself instead of relying on the incompetent team to fulfil your order.

  • Got one today in store :D

    Pretty happy

I was thinking of buying another battery but workflow with two drills is much better (especially when you need pilot holes)

  • Still about 4 on the shelf at Mt Gravatt (Mansfield) in Brisbane as at 6.30PM
Original order at another store was refunded yesterday - was showing low stock when I ordered.
Checked other stores this morning and noticed it showing in stock at Mansfield (pretty sure it wasn't yesterday), so ordered C&C.

  • Compared to my old Stanley brushed 18v, the ozito Drill is a bit disappointing. Definitely not as well built. Motor is slow to turn over whereas the Stanley spins up in an instant. I also doubt the true rpm.

  • Already have the mower, spray gun and inflator so good addition to the kit thanks op. Just did a click and collect Noosaville said in stock.

  • ordered for C&C at Caringbah, Syd store .. (got one of the Ozito hedge trimmers waiting there already - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/652973#comment-11100920)
Hoping i dont get the 'out of stock' replies that others have been reporting!

  • Plenty available at Underwood and Loganholme from what the customer rep told me.

    • +1

      This advice was incorrect FYI

  • +1

Got cancelled orders at nearest 2 bunnings. Gave up and paid $10 delivery free… apparently it's on the way. Yay can't wait. I actually am in need of a hammer drill to install garage storage shelving.

    • same, did that on vermount south bunning, it's on the way..

  • Ordered twice from 2 different stores. got cancelled both times. and now not even available with delivery.

  • Just picked mine up. Northern Beaches.
I'm surprised at the quality feel of the item for the price - spins up faster than my other brushless tools.
Replaces another 5 year old Ozito drill I have worn out from a big decking job. Paid $10 for that one.

  • I've just picked up my order from the Coubug store and it wasn't until I got home the I realised Bunnings had given me a brushed Ozito PXC 18V Hammer Drill Kit (I/N: 0136015) rather than Ozito PXC Brushless Hammer Drill Kit (I/N: 629059). I definitely ordered the correct items and it was still shown as in stock for a while after I ordered, so it's pretty annoying.

I'm not sure how Bunnings is handling returns during lockdown, but I'm sure I won't be getting a brushless drill. :)

  • Just delivered today after my cc cancelled b4. Good drill, thanks OP!

  • I got ready to collect email from Coburg Bunnings store. I am gonna pick up tomorrow. Fingers crossed 🤞

  • Placed the order on 22rd September but the status is still in Order Taken.

  • Picked up my C&C order today from Hawthorn today.

  • ordered mine 22 September morning and was delivered last night on 25th September with startrack

  • Ordered C&C from Dural store on Fri and picked up on Sat. The shelf was empty on both days though, even their website displayed "in stock".

  • Lidcombe had a dozen or so in stock, although you'll need a trade card to get into the store.

    • Just came from lidcombe, no stock on the shelves, and the guy in store said they are out too. no ETA on restock.

      • Greenacre said they might restock in 2-3 weeks because they had a replenish just before this OzB promo.

But could be quicker than that, as this model was complete sold out + also they were giving away other models at similar prices (like skin only brushless impact / skin only brushed hammer drill / drill driver kits)

  • Still available in Wonthaggi Vic. I saw on the shelf about an hour ago. I picked up the Compact Jigsaw which was on clearance for $29, RRP $49.

  • Mine rattles when i shake it like something is lose inside, is that normal…? It also makes a weird clack sound on speed 2 sometimes.

    • +1

It's the sound of high quality engineering by Ozito.

    • Same I heard the clack sound just when I stop on gear 2

  • Back in stock at all my local Bunnings in Brisbane.

    • Carolyn Springs VIC as well it seems. Finger crossed they won't cancel my order again,.

    • Which Bunnings in Brisbane?

      • Picked one up off the shelf are Keperra this morning. Not on website, ticket says higher price but scans at $75
