I just noticed these price changes at Dick Smith, mostly mediocre compared to other deals around ATM but the 3g 10.1 seems like a pretty bad ass deal

Could you post up the receipt? Don't think they'd match MobiCity anymore as it's out of stock now.
I'll post it up when I get home.
It's $499 at Officeworks as well..
You bought it, or you brought it?

Harvey Normans got the 10.1 wifi cheaper
and I think I got my 7.7 for $520 odd on launch at Myer.
I like the idea of an 8.9". I have a Touchpad (9.7") and a Galaxy Pad P1000 (original 7"), and they're at either end of the comfortable size range.
Although I'm also looking out for Motorola's Xoom Media Edition, at 8.2".
Too expensive
Not a bargain. Do some searching for other prices before posting.
Weird, your link to a cheaper 64GB 3g model must be written in invisible font.
Is that the same invisible font that you're link is in? As far as I can see, your post only contains a link to the generic DSE website.
But now that you've mentioned it, let me take a look.
I presume you are referring to this model: http://dicksmith.com.au/product/XC8120/samsung-galaxy-tab-10… @ $798
A quick google reveals that Harvey Norman is selling it $2 cheaper @ $796: http://www.harveynorman.com.au/samsung-galaxy-tab-10-1-64gb-…
JB Hi-Fi has it for $798 (http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/tablet/samsung/galaxy-tab…) and we all know it's very easy to knock off 10% at JB, especially when there's no sale.
As for the 7.7, JB also have it at the same $546 price: http://www.jbhifi.com.au/computers/tablet/samsung/7-inch-tab…
FYI, people were getting the 7.7 for circa $450 with various sales/negotiation. For example, I got mine at Good Guys for $454 with a 20% off sale, and Myer (when they actually received their stock) had it for $449 after 15% off. Myer's list price is $529.
I brought the 7.7 wifi 16gb for $499 at jbhifi price matched mobicity
