$1 off ATL according to Camels.
Trying to decide whether I need this before pulling the trigger myself.

That means HODL.
Bloody hell, basically now in 2025 charge nearly double and call it discounted limited time sale. Manufacturers are having a ball with profit margin hiking and reducing manufacturing capacity to keep prices high.
Ooh, did a quick search to look at previous posts but missed that.
yeah, and i was like $1 off ATL !!!!,
last time i posted it was nearly half that price, if i am not wrong.
Can you please change your description?
I say wait for tech wait for the chinese to come out with A.I alternatives like deepseek etc. retailers and western chips will slash their prices to move stock to avoid any downturn
Before anyone asks, yes, this will work in the Nintendo Switch.
Will it work on Retroid Pocket 5 though?
Yes, I am using one.
SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDXC Memory Card
read speeds of up to 200 MB/s and write speeds of up to 140 MB/s.
Samsung PRO Plus microSDXC Memory Card
reads at 180 Mbps, and writes at 130 Mbps.
I find that many SanDisk memory products (MicroSD's, flash drives, etc) I've bought actually run at much slower speeds than their supposed rating (especially write speed) when actually speed tested vs the Samsung products I've bought
In most devices though it doesn't really matter as they are bottlenecked to 100MB/s due to UHS-I limits. The only reliable scenario for these cards is if you have a supported card reader for file transfers via USB. You can assume the vast majority of other devices e.g. cameras, drones, Switches, Steam Decks, phones etc. will not support the advertised speeds.
+1. Those rated speeds for the SanDisk Extreme Pro require them to be used in conjunction with the SanDisk Professional PRO-READER to achieve speeds beyond the UHS-I limits. In most usage scenarios, the SanDisk and this Samsung will likely perform similarly.
Is this good for the steamdeck?
Somebody needs to make a 10 x mSD card JBOD enclosure…for all my unused mSD cards.
Tough one when they've been ~$40 in the past
