    that has same number of ports, OP one is listed as supporting 4K, yours 1080 FullHD. I've had varying support with 4K with one similar to the on you posted.

    Can vouch for Portta, though - all their stuff that I've tried has been great quality.

  Thanks OP, been thinking to build Hyperion ambiance light with raspberry pi, this device supports HDCP, thus will help the setup

  Does anyone know whether the IR receiver strong enough to receive the signal from the front of TV - if I stick the device at the back of TV (vertically) with 3M adhesive?
