The New South Wales government will waive stamp duty on electric vehicle purchases and provide subsidies for 25,000 new purchases as part of a $490m strategy to drive uptake of EVs.
Under the plan announced on Sunday, people buying battery and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles priced under $78,000 from 1 September will pay no stamp duty, and $3,000 rebates will be available on the same day for the first 25,000 private purchases of electric vehicles priced under $68,750.

They fall apart faster than French cars. Hell, the model Y's roof flies off!!
They're ugly as sin, the panel gaps are wildly inconsistent, the electronics are poorly installed, there are blemishes throughout, panels fall apart and I wouldn't bring plastics into it considering the Model 3's plastics basically fall off it.

Chinese-made cars are even better build quality than Tesla.
MB is far superior in every way to Tesla as you would expect from German car vs American car.
I'm all for EV but they'll be worth buying once BMW and MB start making them.
