No mention of Kogan mobile in the article but I contacted them by phone and was advised that this offer will apply to existing Kogan mobile customers.

From 12.01am 24 April to 11.59pm 25 April Vodafone will be giving mobile, mobile broadband and prepaid customers free data.

This also extends to customers on expired prepaid plans.

“You’ll be able to access the free data from an expired prepaid service, as long as you last recharged within 365 days,” Vodafone has said.

As you are aware, we recently experienced an issue that disrupted our 4G network. To say sorry for the impact this caused you, and as a gesture of goodwill, we’re offering you free data all weekend. From 12.01am 24 April to 11.59pm 25 April, you’ll get free data to use on your mobile phone plan, mobile broadband plan or prepaid service. It's been many years since we’ve experienced a major service interruption, and we are always working to upgrade and improve the resiliency of our network.

        Yes but they cap speeds at 20Mbps so if this applies, does that mean the speed will be uncapped as well?

      I would assume yes because PAYG plans are considered a prepaid plan.

    Thanks OP, The timing for this is a slight bugger, I'm using Felix this month, from their last promo, so no real advantage, but no issues with them anyway, got close to their 20Mbps speed.

    Time to use 2nd phone/Kogan on PC to download large sized Steam games at the same time.

    Kogan have done a backflip. My expired prepaid had unlimited internet again yesterday, not today.
