I was just browsing YouTube and stumbled upon a bunch of movies that are free to stream, but with ads.

    I been using VPN to go to US youtube and I think larger selection of free movies with no ads via Indian premium account.

      If on app go to button on bottom "Explore" then choose movies and on US you see full list of movies.

    Yeah saw that too, started playing Terminator, then realised 5.1 surround sound isn't working anymore. YouTube used to be compatible with surround sound but at a certain stage it suddenly stopped working.

    That was a deal breaker for me. Stopped watching immediately……….

    If anyone wants to watch the official 1st movie of the Avengers franchise here's the link. It's been up there on YT since 2013 and Marvel/YT have not yet realised (probably since the movie itself is so forgotten) but if you haven't seen it, it's basically a Hulk introduction and nothing more than that so even if you are not a fan of Avengers I recommend giving it a go.

    Stargate is a much better movie AFTER you've seen SG1.

    It's the 'wrong order' but the movie does a bad job of creating the world and introducing character motivation.

    Once sg1 has done that, the movie is way more enjoyable.

        As a big fan of Dune growing up, I absolutely loved Stargate though I was quite young I suppose… not sure what beef people had with it. SG1 just made the movie much better that's all.

    Chrome/Edge/Firefox on Windows/Mac:
    *uBlock Origin or whatever adblock client you prefer to use.
    *SponsorBlock addon - stops all those annoying "this video is sponsored by"

    There's a problem with Stargate - there are no subtitles when they're speaking the alien language. Putting on closed captioning only provides English subtitles when they're talking English, but not when they're talking in the alien language. As such, there's no way to understand what's going on in those scenes and it ruins the movie. I don't know if this affects any other movies on the list, but I'm guessing they're all the same.
    Also affected are any scenes where they're not speaking English, such as in the 1920s scene in Egypt at the beginning, where the 2 guys are speaking Swedish. No subtitles.
