Plenty of deals going around for cheap disposable face masks but I don't want to pollute the environment by using disposables. I have searched high and low for nice floral prints face masks for females and these work out to be $6.79/each delivered if you buy 3 or more. I also purchased a plain black mask for the hubby! Quite cheap considering these are reusable and not added to landfills.

The 3rd layer is normally a replaceable filter inserted between the 2 layers. At least all mine are like that anyway
A friend of mine ordered some last week and they looked great on her. That’s how I know about the 20% off discount. I will report back when mine arrives in the post.
Better off with the Bonds masks for $5 (free shipping).
EDIT: Looks like these might not be brilliant? Just dropping the link here to save people time:
I wonder if Bonds has changed their masks. I bought a few when masks were first made mandatory in Melbourne and they were fantastic. Perhaps they are different now?
It just might be that some masks work well for some people but not others - face shapes differ.
@Joker042: Could be, though the comments on that post were pretty unanimous. I have a pretty big head and they are much more comfy for me that tighter fitting masks.
Uniqlo sell the airism ones 3 for $20 as well. They feel great on the skin.
Where are these masks made? A friend said there are reports that some of the colourful "fashion masks" from China use dyes that may give out carcinogenic vapours. Probably better to stick with plain masks or at least those from reputable manufacturers.
It says in the item description that all layers are cotton :/ The official WHO recommendations (page 19) suggests the outer layer to be a hydrophobic (water repellent/poor absorbing) material such as polyester.
I originally bought several floral and plain masks from Fella Hamilton after extensive research and trying to find companies that were following the WHO recommendations… Looks like the masks that I purchased are no longer available and most of their products are also 100% cotton :( They still have one plain style that is suitable.
Thank you for alerting me to the WHO and HealthyWA recommendations!
Those plain ones from Fella Hamilton are preeeetty bland.
I came across these in my search which meet the recommendations and look alright :)

Can anyone vouch for quality as there are lots of masks claiming 3 layers when only 2? If it's not 3 layers and those layers made to certain specifications they won't be effective thus a waste of money.
