Same - works well. Barg.
Extremely inaccurate at least for me. I compared readings from this device at my doctor's and it spits out just a random number on a higher side. Compared with Omrons' at home, and the result is the same, a way higher reading, even the readings from this device in less than 5 minutes can have readings that are way different from each other. I understand you almost never can have the same readings but I'm talking about 40-50 difference in less than 5 minutes. And there support was even more terrible. Ultimately I had to involve Amazon and got the refund through Amazon.

You took both readings at the same time at your doctor's?
but I'm talking about 40-50 difference in less than 5 minutes.
Time isn't a factor; you can think of something stressful and raise your blood pressure in a minute. Even moving around can affect it.

I'm not the same poster, but I did. It was wildly inaccurate and causing legitimate issues, because I was talking readings at home and then at the specialists and thinking that after my medication had been changed, my blood pressure was spiking.
Once we realised how inaccurate the device was, I returned it and got a more traditional automated cuff with the hose attaching to a base unit.
That unit still registers a little high, but much closer to reality and usually pretty consistently about 5% over, not 20-25% over at times like the Withings unit.
I'd mark it down as "so wildly inaccurate it's a public health issue" personally.

I’ve had the same experience - it’s not wildly inaccurate (0-8% off compared to my existing, calibrated monitor) but it varied too much. If I was consistently 8% off then it wouldn’t have been an issue. That was the difference between medication vs not for me. Tried it for weeks and assumed I was doing something wrong, but no amount of following instructions fixed this.
The cuff is not comfortable to keep on for longer periods of time. I was hoping to use it to monitor for an hour at a time but it’s not particularly comfortable and bulkier than it seems.
It’s a great idea and I wanted it to work, but returned in the end. It’s telling that very few other companies are trying this format.
got one 2 years back from JB, It alerted that I had high BP, reduced weight by 10% and reading became normal.
I don't have Costco membership. Will JB price match?
What JB Hi-Fi won't price match:
Cashback offers
Store credits
Bonus and bundled promotions
Coupon promotions
Grey or direct import products
Commercial orders
Competitor advertising errors
Members only or subscription prices
Third-party JB Hi-Fi Marketplace products
no
Also after watching the instructions I realised I wasn't putting it on properly.
I used to always wrap it "nicely" when I was really meant to wrap it so the whole cuff had even contact. For me that means it wraps around at an angle. The readings dropped after I did that.
Also after watching the instructions(youtube.com) I realised I wasn't putting it on properly.
Always pays to read the directions! Glad you got it sorted out.
Wrapping it nicely with a nice ribbon
anyone confirm these are available at other Costco's?
Just picked one up at North Lakes. Hidden in the corner of the ‘pharmacy’ area
I saw about 20 at Perth Costco today. At the edge of the pharmacy aisle.
Cheaper one at ALDI this week. No idea on it's quality but $39.99 IIRC.
Which WA Costco is this at?
They only have two….. So 50/50 it is your local one.
Yeah, which store?
Just bought from the Perth airport store. Plenty still there. You'll find it on the end of the supplements aisle
Yep plenty left at Perth airport Costco. Saw about 20.
Paid $119 nearly 3 years ago for mine at Costco. Has been fairly accurate and used multiple times a week. At less than $50 its a bargain!
New Samsung watch will do blood pressure and new Apple watch will do blood glucose
How though? I love the idea of blood pressure on a watch, but how would that actually work?
By analysing the blood volume in the wrist. You need to calibrate it monthly though with a 'real' BP monitor device.
@dealhunter-007: Wow, so I don't need to go in for a the expensive doppler radar test - like a radar speed camera - this week to establish whether the lower temperature and chilblains like symptoms in my right hand are because the blood flow to it is less than to my left hand, I just need to beg, borrow or steal a Samsung watch.
Do they tell you what I want to know, the raw data on blood flow, or just the computed result?
My old Galaxy watch 4 does it too. Not just the new one.
Needs calibration once a month, though with a BPM?
@BewareOfThe Dog: Yes. Once a month or else it expires and then you can't do it.
Use my Watch6 for on the go measurements just in case I start feeling a bit off. Thankfully I need to do this less and less. BP under control these days.
It's a race between both companies
USB GG type
Very good price
looks like some perth ebay sellers pwning them off for a premium https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/126899680259?chn=ps&_ul=AU&norov…

Heaps of stock, in one store or in all stores? Can you be a bit more specific please.
