Is it just me, or have these tissues become less soft over time?

    • +1

Less soft, thinner, no longer worth your money.

Forget Quilton. Go back to Sorbent, Kleenex or even Aldi brand or Costco

  • +1

To be honest these tissues is getting worse, its very fluffy and does not feel like 3 ply like it used to

    • Toilet paper, towel and tissue all are the same paper.

      • +1

Not really. Toilet paper is made of short fibers, but paper towels have a higher fraction of longer fibers. Paper towels and tissues dissolve less readily in water when compared to toilet paper.

  • +2

I found it thinner from my last buy, same as their toilet paper. Not as good as previously.

  • Is that a good value compared to Aldi confidence brand?

    • +2

Value wise, I dont think anyone can beat Aldi, as long as you are not too picky with the thickness.

      • These are shit now too. I will switch to Aldi

      • How much are the Aldi ones and how many sheets per box?

        • Couldn't remember exactly but I think it was $1.69 per box with 220 sheets

  • +3

These used to be almost half the price a few years ago.. Crazy world

  • +1

There is nothing to see here for people outside of the metro areas.

  • +1

Don't forget to tick the 5% coupon making it $17.45

    • Where is it locates? I couldn't find it.

  • +3

agree with everyone else. religiously bought these cause they were good but now it's just gone down hill. recently bought a box of 2ply 220 sheets from the woolies deal for 1.70 a box. basically same so I'll just be getting that instead.

    • Their 3 ply is not real 3 ply but feel likes 2 ply. Extra thick = Normal thickness and not soft.

Poor quality products. They should get out of the market, they are selling their name. Nothing else

Whoever is managing this business got themselves to blame

  • +2

No longer the quality they once were. Before they were the only tissues i would buy, not anymore.

    • They were also $35 recently too!

    Sheet count 110 @ $1.54 ea

    VS

    Sheet count 224 @ $2.00 ea

    • 3ply vs 2ply. When you factor that in they are essentially the same price. 2ply is too thin to ever use just 1 so you end up having to use double. Then there's the fact the homebrand ones are like sandpaper and rip through your skin (referring to Coles brand, can't remember what WW is like). It also depends on the sheet dimensions but I don't think Quilton list theirs.

      • Works for me

  • was $16.43

Quilton cant get any worse… but im constantly proven wrong.
It all started when they replaced the plastic flaps with useless paper flaps that shredded tissues when you pull them out.

  • +1

as many have said, quality of Quilton has gone ⬇⬇⬇ for a while now ..
