You could at least spray some MrSheen on the case and give it a wipe before taking the pics…those fingerprints from so many that have touched it (isn’t exactly COVID-friendly)…

    • +2

That'll cost you an extra $50 cleaning fee

    • +11

Those fingerprints are from back in the days when dinosaurs ruled the earth there was no covid.

    • Protein shake stains.

    • +4

But but, they could've been famous eSports players sweat and grease! Way too valuable to clean lol

  • Do you guys have used ex-tournament peripherals, merch or chairs?

Pretty decent. Picked the cheapest item I could find. RTX 2060 because 1070 ti is unavailable (or $1258.27). GTX 1660ti (slightly <1070ti) is $395.

  • could have at the very least given them a clean

    • +12

The grease on the case comes as part of the deal

      • +2

Cash in the grease like in that Simpsons episode

    • +4

That gamer gunk increases performance by up to 20%

    • I dont think they could.

That looks like soft-touch rubber coatings that are just degrading; aint no cleaning that if im right.

  • Any good for MSFS2020?

Just be aware it does not come with WIN activation, just has Win 10 installed.

    Does it come with word.exe?

    • +3

      Does it come with iexplorer.exe?

      • +2

Don't think you got the reference.

Hi rep, any ideas on approx how many times these have been used? Pictures make it look a bit beat up.

    • +2

      More than twice.

  • +1

Just crossed my mind if this is more powerful than the new gen consoles.

    I think they are.

    • +4

I don't think they are. New consoles are more inline with 2060-2070 and let's not forget the pcie 4 ssd.

      • +2

I think the 1070ti is very comparable to the 2060 in terms of performance.

However, you are right that PS5 and especially Xbox are more powerful than this build

  • assuming the psu is decent that's a pretty good deal, i'd just swap out the case for a decent thermaltake h18 for $59 and it'd look and perform really well for the price

  • Good for PCVR? Quest Link?

  • Can it run Down To One?

    • Points for this comment, whoever you are. Definitely.

  • I guess a new comparison could be TechFast's (+$160) https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/580916
    hmm the pros and cons..

  • +2

GTX1070ti=RTX 2060 WITHOUT RT/DLSS. According to the price history here it would be possible to build a brand new 2060/60super/70 desktop by yourself byond $700 or a little bit more for RTX2070 super (was approx $550 with a free 480GB ssd though trashy)

    • thanks, makes me feel better about procrastinating and missing out :D
