If you have anyone with a student email, they can do a better price, I have asked them a few time to throw in a laptop bag and sometimes a USB hub for free.

    Waiting for TA code ;)

  • I find it really weird that Lenovo don't push their monitors out for review. Particularly in a world where everyone needed one. The $1049 T32p-20 4k IPS monitor looks like a really good spec for the rrp, especially when compared to the rrp on the similar spec Dell U3219Q that is $1430. However, it's been out for nearly a year and I don't see a single review. Weird!

    • T32p-20 Lenovo epp price is $734, really good price.

  • Any good $1200 laptops on there?

Anyone know if the Edu store (lenovo.com/au/en/education) is eligible? Amex support weren't very helpful in finding out…

    • It should qualify because it is from (lenovo.com/au/en/******) site

But must pay by amex only. "do not pay via paypal that uses amex card"

      • I've placed the order anyways, we'll see how we go…

I've placed the order too, through the LenovoPRO For Small Business. And I got confirmation from AMEX that I used the Lenovo Amex Offer.

  • I wonder if tightarse can do something for us with a cashrewards / lenovo / amex promo?

  • Just a FYI. Inlaws ordered a ThinkPad E15 about 6 weeks ago and have just been advised that it will not be ready until February. Shortage of parts. So if you need something soonish, might be worth jumping on online chat to find out the wait times.

    • Was it a ready to ship unit or made to order?

      • I thought it was ready to ship, it didn't have any modifications. But can't have been if they were still waiting for parts.

        • I'm not sure about now but last time I bought from Lenovo I could customise the parts, e.g. increase the RAM or SSD size. But doing so would make the laptop become "made to order" model, identified with the "CTO" model. This has to be configured at the factory, and probably the upgrade you ordered was not available.

          • @tukanglistrik: Its was the stock model. No changes.
I have ordered from Lenovo many times (work in IT), and haven't had an issue before. They have hit a supply issue due to covid for whichever part is holding up the process. Inlaws are going to cancel their order and get something else.
Wont stop me recommending the Thinkpads to people when supplies are back up though. They are great machines.

            • @fenric: Well the good thing is you can have the Amex credit now ;)

  • Anyone know if I buy through lenovoPro account. Will amex give me the credit? Thanks.

  • Hi Guys,
I am thinking about to buy a new lenovo L15 (customized to 16GB RAM, FHD 1920 *1080) for work.
It worked out about $1330 and with the $180 Amex offer and shopback $100, It seems alright because I am not playing any games, just for a bit of spreadsheet at work, and general use.

    I've got 2 questions
    1. the checkout says it will take more than 8 weeks to ship, does it mean it won't qualify amex offer (the item must be shipped before 01/12/2020) if I ordered it now?

    1. what is the difference between 65W USB-C and 45W AC Adapter 90% PCC (3pin)-ANZ (USB Type C) when it comes to power cord, which one should I go for? It is free to customize to either of them

    Thanks for help

    • Yeah don't think you'll quality
      Go usb-c

      • thanks Daft. it seems both of them are Type c, should I go 65W or 45W?

        • 65w will charge quicker
          my X1 carbon comes with a 65w USB-C.
not sure what the "90% PCC" bit means

  • Ordered thinkpad x13 ryzen5 with 16gb ram, 256gb hd and finger reader, backlit keyboard for $1285.
Worked out well with the amex offer! Is it correct that I wouldn’t have cash back if it doesn’t ship by 1st Dec?

    • Yes correct, so better check and confirm the shipment date.

  • How do I get this offer on my Qantas AMEX Premium Card?

    • Get over it. It's targeted

  • Can anyone confirm whether this is a targeted offer and also if it applies to education store purchases? Customer service wasn’t helpful at all.

    • Yes, and not sure.

I got my amex cashback from education store purchase in July.
