I sent a query and then got tracking the next day. They didn't actually reply but I dropped it at that point.

You are not the only one.
They are absolutely useless when it comes to replying to emails. So, in the end I did not buy from them at all.

No reply to emails. Put me off the company completely for future purchases.

      • It is very frustrating, I have no idea what is going on with my order after 2 weeks.

I guess I will have to talk to my credit card company by the end of this week to dispute my payment.

Why is it so hard, and what a crap customer service if they have one!

    • I tried to cancel with opolar when I saw the aliexpress offer, no response whatsoever.

    • I had ordered two but decided to cancel one.
They never replied and after a week or so i got both. So pissed off. And they never replied. HAd to take it with paypal. Thank god for paypal

  • I'm in Melbourne and mine hasn't arrived, but I've had a pretty crap experience so far.

    Here's the tracking info:

2020-11-06 16:06local / Failed to deliver and returned to carrier.
2020-11-05 11:40local / Wrong address Hold at depot.
2020-11-04 17:29local / Picked up at warehouse and onboard ready for delivery
2020-10-31 18:08local / Recipient not found, No access
2020-10-30 19:29local / Picked up at warehouse and onboard ready for delivery
    2020-10-30 13:59MEL / Arrival at destination facility

They apparently couldn't find my address, despite me having lived here for over a year and had probably close to 100 items delivered between my partner and myself in that time.

I Googled 4PX (that's who the tracking is with). I've called their number 03 9416 8777 at least 50 times over the past 10 days - they've yet to answer. I did some googling and found a reddit post form 2019 where people said they had no luck getting in touch with the Melbourne 4PX depot, but have driven to their Preston depot to pick up in person. So I did that - their address listed on the website is 84-88 Chifley Drive Preston. Google Maps checks out with pictures of 4PX taken in 2020.

Well, I drove there only to find another company is currently there with no sign of 4PX at all. Have emailed 4PX, no reply.

I submitted a message on Opolar's website, no reply.

    I've lodged a PayPal claim.

TL;DR if you're in Melbourne, don't drive to their Preston Depot - they're not there, but a company called Welch Auto Parts is there instead.

"I'm in Melbourne and mine hasn't arrived, but I've had a pretty crap experience so far.

      Here's the tracking info:"

Who with? Mine was Fastway/Aramex and they royally screwed up my delivery too. Tracking said had been delivered and signed for by a name I've never heard of. I am in an apartment block and there is no reception desk so no-one could have signed.

Loads of hassle trying to get them to even raise an enquiry.

      • My tracking info was with 4PX but I'm not sure if they use a forwarder themselves.

I've had issues with Fastway in the past too!

        • 4PX is just a tracking site - its not the courier.

It will be Auspost or Aramex/Fastway I think.

          Try here:

          https://auspost.com.au/mypost/track/#/search

          or here:

          https://www.aramex.com.au/tools/track

          • @gadgetguy: Yeah I tried that with all the tracking numbers available to me with Aus Post and aramex to no avail :(

            • @Michalek: Really? I have tracking urls for dozens of providers - if you want to PM me your tracking detail I'm 99% sure I will find the actual courier and proper tracking for it.

              • @gadgetguy: I'm not particular happy I need to pick up from a flower shop. I got no sms or email.

I had to google the address on 4px to find out its a flower shop I had no company name to look for

I almost wanted to file a Paypal dispute. As I didn't receive it at my door and thought It's gone to someone else. Nicked it etc.

The delivery is appalling. Will never buy again

                I even bought the 2020 over $100!

This is Not the service I expect. Will never deal with it again.

Good luck getting warranty because they do not respond emails in timely manner.

                • @neonlight: Sorry, this wasn't my experience. They delivered via proper courier or may have been Auspost.

            • -1

@Michalek: They drop at nearby affiliated shops. You need to pickup. If you pay by PayPal without an account your mobile is not passed on so you get no notification.

You need to go to the 4px tracking sites to find out which address it was dropped and you pick up from there

For me it was a flower shop. But it only had an address

OPOLAR cheapen out on delivery. It's from dongguan

I suspect how it works is they pooled all the deliveries to a shop without actually getting it delivered to your door. It's either the courier looked at the address think its not a house, didnt bother with it but because they didn't pay auspost so they can't leave it at post office.

The only thing they can do is leave it at another shop closest to you under their courier ring

  • Received mine today. Melbourne based.

They don't deliver to your door. You need to pick up from one of their dodgy affiliates. It was a korean/chinese flower shop for me. The guy also couldn't find my parcel I had to spend lots of time and he didn't know why it was dropped off there couldn't explain.

Emailed support their respond was so sht it's like they don't understand English

I had ordered two of them. Tried to cancel one of them before it got shipped.
Emailed both their marketing and support email and no reply. They are the worst. They sent me both. So be careful when you order from them.

I then created a case with Paypal as they didn't reply for return process either.
Paypal finally refund me for the first order saying I won the case and then a day later got an email from Opolar saying they refunded.
Good thing is I got one for free but really bad customer service.
