Looks like they aren't removable based on a review I just read. :-(
Just buy ASUS RT-AX88U if you don't want to use external antenna. They are removable and they just extend signal, already have built-in antenna (most of them do).

$334.12 Sold by Amazon so should be eligible for cashrewards/shopback.
@Bigboomboom: That's the TUF-AX3000, not the RT-AX88AU
@KangaDrew: Well yeah, but it's quite competent at the price point you're looking for.
Look at this beast, more antennas than you can poke a stick at!
Almost tempted to re-sign up to EbayPlus…almost
Didn't you know!
The more antennas the better…
Noob question,
How do we use it for optus NBN with VOIP, can i just add it to optus modem and rename SSID to be the same as my optus modem (ofcourse will change optus ssid to something else)?
VOIP will still be with optus modem
everything else will be connected to this
guys,
just found this in reddit, looks like tplink is not upto its competition,

The firmware has improved the performance significantly.
All three routers have the exact same hardware so the performance should be identical after the firmware optimization.
interesting, is there any data?
I’ve got the VR600 v2 and I honestly can’t recommend it. WiFi drops our frequently and it’s a common issue. I’ve also had ongoing issues with NBN dropouts at 3 different premises so I’m pretty confident it’s the modem.
This is probably going to sound like a stupid question but I'm asking because they have images of the router without antennas.
Does anyone know if you can use the AX6000 without the antennas, meaning, is anything built in? I've got a small apartment and very little room near the FTTP comms unit. The dead spider legs make it look huge!
