    • No GST to pay

    Why not ?

    • I too would like to know why there is no GST payable on your goods? If you have figured out a loophole, please let Amazon and eBay know

      • And the question is completely ignored …

    • maybe they haven't hit the annual GST threshold yet?

      • no gst cause they pay custom tax? :D :D

      If you order other parts it comes from Europe, China or the USA.
      Anything ordered from these locations would normally be charged GST on top of the purchase.

      So because the stock is already in Australia… you dont need to add the cost of GST to the purchase price.

      That's my assumption anyways

  • Can anyone comment on the performance of this machine?

    • I would also like to know this… was going to wait purchase an Ender 3 v2 in two weeks.. potentially around the same price point if you upgrade to add the same parts onto the Ender 3 v2..

        By searching on Google or YouTube, you'll see there're a lot reviews and comments on Sovol SV01. You can also see how users discuss Sovol printers and get your questions answered in Sovol Users Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/sovol3d/

          Thank you. I can only speak for myself here when I state, I am well aware of how to search but thank you for the instructions. I feel some of the reviews which are either paid for in $$ or promotional and free items can be biased, thus I would rather ask the question to see if others on these forums have personal experience with items, as these are often considered more genuine and personal. Based on your helpful comment though I think I will opt for the ender 3 v2. Thanks again.

            @mikkaat: It's ok, enjoy your 3d printing journey. :)

          • @mikkaat: Stick with the ender - heaps and heaps of mods available on thingiverse and 80k members in facebook groups for any issues that might come up.

    I've purchased one (as part of the expired deal) which arrived today. The quality is extremely good.

    Couple of things that I didnt see listed when I originally purchased:
    You receive the following:
    * 200g (approx 67m) of white PLA filament
    * 8gig TF card
    * TF card to USB adapter
    * Spare nozzle
    * some other lil utensils

    The box is extremely well packaged. So well I had issues getting the printer out of the box. I had to get help holding the riser part of the frame while I pulled out the base (this is because some cables are connected and ziptied)

    The instruction book is a little confusing .. but i eventually figured things out. I probably should have made a youtube video on how to do it .. but there might already be some out there (i didnt look).

    I have a BL touch and silent board on order so i'm assuming they'll come sooner or later ..

    As a Warning… DO NOT ORDER any PLA or TPU from Sovol's website. I actually had customer service contact me and tell me that they were unable to deliver to me and that I should source supplies locally. They then issued a refund of what I paid back to my card.

    I'll update more once I print my first item and tell you how things go.

    Hope this helps :)

      I bought this model as well and it arrived within a week (being in Melbourne helps as it is shipped from their Melbourne warehouse). I should have paid the extra for the BLtouch (auto level). I ended up ordering separately and having to pay for shipment as well (US$7). The machine motors are quiet silent, just some low humming noise. So I wonder how much quieter it can get with the silent board. For additional savings, sign up as a member first to be part of their loyalty program.
      For setting up, watch the video on their web page. Don't follow the quick setup card included with the printer as that is a bit dated.

      3dfillies(Melbourne location) is good for PLA etc, supposed to be receiving a lot of stock in about 1-2 weeks (Some popular colours OOS, but still have others)

        I looked at 3dfillies except to get free postage it was $140 …

        https://ccdiy.com.au/ <— i came across this mob in Perth .. they only wanted $40 for free delivery …

        Until i then discovered https://www.cubictech.com.au/ who is just down the road and I can pickup from them .. They also have more colour choices currently compared to 3dfillies/ccdiy

        Now I just have to decide what colours to get.
