1332

Description from 7-11:
Slurpers! Dust off your bowls, cups and baseball caps. It's BYO Cup Day!

September signals the start of slurping season so for one day, 21 Sept, we are letting you bring in your favourite cup and fill it with Slurpee for only $2.60!

Check the rules over on the BYO Cup page (http://on.fb.me/reKnIb) and check out how you can win a whole year's worth of Slurpee!

It is from the official Slurpee Australia page.

Rules:
Any cup is fair game as long as it fits within 230x260mm. Head into store to test your cup fits.
Unless you enjoy mopping, cups must be watertight with no holes or tears.
Your cup must be clean and free of foreign matter. You don't want to ruin the taste of your Slurpee.
To prevent permanent brain freeze, only one fill up per cup is allowed.

So no point bringing in your fish tanks. :P

this is my post from facebook, but basically

[NSW] DO NOT GO TO Cabramatta West, Fairfield (hamilton rd), or Mt Pritchard. Went at 10pm and they said nah finished at 7PM go to the other stores. I even showed them the fb page. SO Mod: Foul Language DISAPPOINTING

I have almost never neg a deal, but just because of some shit franchises in my area. I really want to neg this deal and be the first one.

ok guys, if you couldnt neg deals, then it defeats the purpose of having a neg button, so if you feel that you had to neg my comment, go for it.

but how would you feel, if all you brought in was a modest flower vase, and each store told you to go to another store, then you drive around to three different stores. all telling you the same thing, deal ended at 7PM.

so i ended up buying 2x $3.30 cups.

anyways, response from 7-11 on FB page

"Slurpee Australia: Hi, thanks for letting us know about these Stores and sorry to hear this happened. We'll investigate for you."

I vouch this. I went for a joyride to these stores around 10:30 and wasted 20minutes on a journey for the 8L slurpee. Came home thirsty and disappointed.

i was shaky all night. never had jitters before

  • brought a water purifier jug, shared it around with a couple of friends. i pretty much chucked it out after drinking a cup sized portion, since the slurpee was for the most part runny anyway, but it was for the heck of it.
