First time post so apologies if formatting is wrong!

Roll’d the Vietnamese fast food chain are currently giving away free bowls of Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef soup) when you sign up via the URL attached and enter the emailed coupon code upon check out via APP.

The store I got my free bowl from (Malvern Central) we’re very helpful in showing me how to get the free soup!

      Doesn’t compare to what you would get on Victoria street or at a legit Vietnamese restaurant…but for free? Hell yeah it was tasty.

      Lacked some of the vibrant lemongrass flavours you would get from a proper restaurant and was a touch on the oily side.

        Dong Ba in Footscray is full of lemongrass. Truly one of the best soups in Melbourne.

      Proper Bún Bò Huế has so much chillies in it so if you are not from the central region/Huế or used to hot food, you shouldn't taste anything after the first mouthful.

        Can confirm, selected “Slap in the face” (the middle option for heat) and your description is incredibly accurate. I love spicy food too but this is next level.

        Hmm all the BBH I have had in Hue from proper BBH stalls had the saté on the side so you could increase the spicy ness to your desired level. Hot yes but not Thai hot.

        Used to work there, Vietnamese don't eat in there, it isnt authentic food. A bit rip off price but if you eat in bundle it would be cheaper. Doesnot recommend Fries and Soldier but Pho is pretty decent

            @Flying Ace: omgosh can confirm, their banh mi, bread is not fresh its like a weird soft crumbly, half assed ingredients, couldnt even taste the pate, for $9.50 a pop, complete and utter rip off. I bought once cos too lazy to go to the other chain store in my area "Bun Me" and regretted it.

        Warm and cozy in Boronia is fabulous. Amazing food and fantastic value with lots of meat and vegetarian options. They have one of the best Bahn mi I’ve tried too.

        Keep in mind that the restaurant itself isnt fancy in the least and it’s tiny but great food.

      Aw, I go there sometimes :( that makes me a little sad.

      Tbh that inside food court is one of, if not the worst of any shopping centre in Melbourne imo. The options available are just really mediocre. At least the outer area is better but man.. they gotta hurry and renovate it and bring in some more exciting places. At one point they were going to open a nene chicken and then for whatever reason they opened a “cup n cup” instead which did not last long at all. Was drinks with snacks inside the lid..

        That's the thing you could only fool your customers for that long, even the caucasians. Once they found a much better one, they'll be gone forever. That's why quality and business loyalty is very important. If their food are good, I wouldn't even mind pay more to eat at rolled due to their convenient location, if their foods are really good..

    I tried with brand new accounts, different coupon codes, even different stores, but still getting the below error:

    Double check your selected branch has a hot food kitchen first. Tried Martin Place & Australia Square in Sydney, order got rejected a few times as I thought it was a connection issue. When I went there the shopkeeper explained they don't serve hot food. She said she was puzzled why these spicy pho orders kept appearing and she kept rejecting them..

    I think their app isn't implemented that well - it's not filtering the restaurants by menu.

    The app also doesn't work on Android Q beta which I am using with Pixel 3. It crashes due to app location permissions, I had to install it on my older nexus.

    For anyone who hasn't tried the real BBH, this Roll'd BBH is far from authenticity (small size vermicelli, Pho soup, no satay or shrimp sauce flavour etc). But it's FREE anyway.

    Their app is rubbish. I tried to claim yesterday, all went through, then the store didnt get my order so I didnt get any food. Trying today, the BBH bowl doesn't appear at all.

      I reckon it's been OzBargained. It says sold out when I press reorder on the app as it's not showing in the menu (I claimed yesterday). Note I had to wait 45 mins yesterday as they were cooking a new batch of soup, the lady said they had a massive amount of orders. They marked my order as ready (per status in the app) after about 5 mins even though it wasn't. Then she said she couldn't find my order but gave me one anyway.

      Agree it's not worth the $13+ price tag so I wouldn't get it again from there.

    I just tried and my discount code worked; I was even able to add a meal - but after I ordered the app crashed!
