Saw this Dinner Special at Frango Sydney CBD on Kent Street last night.
$10 Half Chicken and Chips! What a bargain!
From 4pm till late (closing).
Did check with staff on the promo period but they had no idea.
So get in while its hot!

Bring the chicken somewhere that don't charge tomato sauce.
Or get the tomato sauce from Maccas.

@jv: In Australia, "ketchup" is generally understood as a thicker, sweeter condiment, while "tomato sauce" is typically thinner and more sour, though both are made from tomatoes

Pre covid my local frangos has their chilli sauce and mayo bottles on the tables for unlimited use.
Now they all charge for any extras.
Sad faceidm pulling it from the tables, but $2 even for them to put it on for you when you collect from counter is a joke. apparently, that makes it loaded fries now.
It’s like at Grill’d if I take off herbed mayo and add chipotle mayo, they charge like $1 or $2 lol so I put my own on when I get home such garbage
It probably means they're gearing up for a sale of the business.
They've gone incredibly down hill since going mega expansion mode, they were decent when they had 2-3 stores.
Same thing with El Jannah
Didn't realise there was a branch in the CBD.
They took over the Nandos joint
Can confirm as someone who works nearby and is a lover of chilli (name checks out) that this has been running for 2 months now

Frango is far superior in both taste and quality to Nando's.
Frangos is way better than Nando's.

I wouldn’t call half a chicken and chips for $10 a bargain. I would say that’s the normal price for the amount you’re paying.
Where have you been since the COVIDs came to town?
Just went and bought the deal. Seems to have been available for some time now. It made the store relatively busy. Some people were buying one meal to share between two.
